How it ends up executed remains to be seen; but it doesn't seem to sound [b][i]as bad[/i][/b] as what Sony is doing. I'm holding some skepticism still though.

I actually like this idea, but only if you get to keep your disc too and still use it

Like if you use it and the disc is useless then that sucks

All of this is just a rumor so its yet to see how it is in actuality

But yeah if the disc is still usable and tradeable then that is fantastic

They will not. Sony said they won't use discs by 2028 which mean ps6-psWhatever number is the final one will be digital only
