Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] Dark Road will be coming to a close on May 30th. The app will switch over to offline mode at May 30, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. (PDT) / May 31, 2021 1:00 (UTC). After this date, the Union χ[Cross] side will only be available in theater mode while Dark Road won't be available until Version 5.0.0 rolls out in late September.

I spent no more than the price of kh3 (pre-dlc), and that was over the course of the entire game

love the mindset of "i didn't do it so of course no one else did either"

UX was one of squares top performing mobile games

their mobile games in general generated a TON of money for them

I thought DFFOO earned more and Ux was barely on the top-earning gachas.

Opera Omnia def earned more
But I find it hard to believe that UX wasn't up there

UX was def up there for the first year or two, it dropped off but was still making enough to not warrant a sudden closure

the fact that the game made it through to Nomura's ending for the game should tell you it wasnt dying

DR on the other hand lol

they probably realized it alone wouldnt carry enough weight after UX ended

Ux did have a timely run, though.

cool. i was also fine without spending money for about 99% of the game, and didn't technically need the boost i got from the 1% that i did spend money

Hate to say it, but I'd prefer more stuff like Backcover and Your Keyblade and You to tell this story rather than the app just lingering on and on 

Just put the story in a series of light novels, or tie it all up in a film, it'll still get the story done without the mess.
