From a recent forum that I did brings me to an interesting question. Which game do you find more saddening/depressing? KHBBS or KHDays. I find them both sad and depressing in their own way/right. KHDays - mostly due to Roxas being so close to Xion and losing her/him/it (depending on how you look at the situation), as well as what Roxas went through. KHBBS - Terra's body being taken over by MX, Ven going into a coma type state, and Aqua being limited to helping her friends, among other incidents. But for your own reasons, which game do think takes the cake for being more sad/depressing?

KH:BbS by a mile. <3

Hard to pick since both don't have any happy ending.

But ill pick Kh bbs because of what happen to Terra, ven and aqua.

BBS. Ven breaks his own heart for his friends and has to take shelter within Sora for the next 11 years while his body sleeps in the Chamber of Repose. Aqua gives up everything she has to save Terra and falls into the Realm of Darkness in his place, where she spends the next 11 years alone and surrounded by nothing but darkness and Heartless, even if to her, it's only been a few hours, and eventually going into a suicidal slump. Terra takes the cake for Most Depressing Story, having been through all the crap he went through in the game (betrayal, disappointment, failure after failure, killing his Master/father figure, destroying his home, being unable to protect his friends, being used, etc.), as well as being a prisoner in his own body fighting constantly for dominance and control for years.

I don't think Days was depressing at all since the outcome was obvious from the very beginning, especially if you had played KH2 already.

*sighs deeply* yeah there is a thread kinda similiar to this one already. But like I said in that thread, I don't find Days depressing. I did find some parts of BBS a little depressing though.

BBS is way more depressing than Days.

I've played both games and I have to agree that BBS was way more deppresing than days.

I had to vote for BBS, coz I really cried when the ending for every character, especially Ven and Aqua. and when Aqua jumped into the darkness to save Terranort...

BBS is definitely more depressing than Days, considering the fact that all of the main protagonists either went through an extreme amount of suffering or they are currently suffering.

Days just had Xion "die" and Roxas leave the Org, not that sad imo.

Days was kinda sad because what happened to Roxas was not his fault. But I think BbS is sadder just because of all the hardship and sacrifices each of the characters went through.

Far none BBS. But one a side note, the most dark and depressing game to me was always the first one. Not because anything particularly devastating happens though. It's just... dark!

I think the most sad/depressing moment in the KH series overall is Atlantica from KH2

fool.Days. TAV got what was coming to them

I know it's bbs because they all went to there limit to help there friends. Aqua the most sacrificing her life her home her friends many times to end up losing them and ended up in the realm of darkness unable to fight and save them again. then terra for still trying to fight even whn he was taking over by master xehanort and over coming darkness to save his friends. the ventus for trying to save everyone by basically killing himself to save aqua and terra. even though i did feel bad for xion thinking that she was a nobody then excepting it and then finding out that she is a replica and then sacrificing her life for someone she didn't know (sora) and losing her best friends the only people that she knew and also roxas and xion's feelings to show compasion for each other by saying(who else would eat ice cream with me) replacing who else will be my best friend or i can't live without you so in the end bbs wins because of aqua's demise.

BBS I cried in every ending

Am I the only one that thought days was sadder? I had never played KH2 or even knew about KH when I played it, and Xion never deserved her end. or Roxas. Or Axel. they wanted to happily live eating icecream in sunsets. but there was no way. And no one understood. they fought each other, and stuff... not cool

I didn't find BBS depressing at all mostly because it's very likely that everything will be fine and everyone will be safe in future installments. Days on the other hand had Xion's death which was both made to be sad and had sad music to go with it. Although i cried in neither.

why cant we pick both D<

fool. It's not asking which one is sad. It's asking which one is more sad. They both can't be more sad than the other.

well yeah BBS has its parts but poor Xion dies Roxas forgets about her i mean when i see Roxas before merging with Sora at Twillight fiction town not having a clue of whats happening and saying -maybe.... today we will finally hit the beach-

Looks like we've got an Organization XIII fan here.... I hate how they're taking over the origins of the series... Play KH and KH2 man!

To me BBS seemed like it was more layed out to where Xehanort pretty much had everything orchestrated, to a degree. He took Terra's body, and almost succeeded in getting the X-Blade and had completed Kingdom Hearts. In Days, you have three people/nobodies being close to one another and being torn apart by a group that has their own agenda. Out of Days, I kind of gotten the idea of losing someone close, whereas BBS none of the characters really took into consideration the initial task that Master Eraqus had Terra and Aqua perform, which was to look Master Xehanort.
