Of course I want to get Re: coded but for the time ive been playing BBS and reading a review of recoded I saw that someone said "You dont need to play this game just watch it on youtube.

Then I thought wait a sec, this is true, mostly everything in the game relates back to most of what I already know, but this guy, was doing a review of something that wasn't even released in america yet. I saw that there was makor replay value like in days and alot of fun sidequests. including the data world. I thought this is actually a chance to see something new, and after KHII I remember dying to see what the letter said, of course I coulde just look it up, but I think back, way back in the day there was no true way of finding info about video games, the internet was still fresh and people couldnt just go on and find stuff like video game help. It was usually left to nintendo power magizines and the such and so I think being a true fan of this particular series im going to pick up a copy anyways.

Honestly, whoever wrote that is probably right. I mean it has a minimal impact on the series itself, and it doesn't even look that fun. Personally, I'm just going to watch it on youtube

Even if the story is weak, the rest of the game is enough reason to play. Yeah, you can definitely skip it, but if you have the money and find it interesting, why rob yourself of a fun game to play? That's exactly what Re:coded is; it's a fun game, and it fulfills that purpose. If anything, this is what a KH game on the DS should be like.

It's up to you.

Sure you could watch a Playthrough or Walkthrough for it.

But it has a lot of fun Gameplay elements.

exactly thats why I like it, the gameplay. Im soley in it for the fun a interactivity of it. I like that its also a sidescroller and a classic rpg at the same time. I also want to design my own avatar and go online. but I doubt there is multiplayer.

There isn't. The closest thing to that is Avatar Menu. Basically, it implements a similar passerby system to TWEWY. When you (with your DS and Re:coded in the slot), pass by another person who also has a DS with Re:coded, then the DS' will send signals to each other and exchange data, so you'll gain access to levels they've designed and stuff like that. Or that's my understanding of it. I haven't actually tried it out yet xD

I want to be able to play all the games, although that means a lot of $ out of my pocket, which I don't like. Sure, you can watch a playthrough, but it isn't the same, it's really great to be able to actually experience the game for yourself.

You can watch any KH game on youtube. But if you want to support a franchise you like, you should buy their games, no?

Besides, gameplay looks great.

Quoted for truth.

Anyway, yeah, it is worth the time, gameplay looks great, the story is good, and generally, it's Kingdom Hearts, so of course it's worth it.

I heard it was a shorter game than most other ones in the series so relatively I would call it worth the time. Also all of the game-play should be fun.

game looks funny even though it can just be watched online its a fun game like reversal said ^_^

Watch in awe. >->

I only buy the main KH games(BBS, KH1, KH2), and watch the side games on youtube. I know when to spend my money.

there is nothing named "side games" in KH (thats what i have heard atleast but anyway i have decided i will not miss any KH game because i did not get to play kh1 or COM but i am going to buy all the new kh games that come (not final mxes ofcourse) that way i can't miss anything and BTW its borig to watch it online anyways

I'm getting it because I just like the fact I own all the KH games that have come out here, plus it's my payday soon :D

I had to watch re:com online cause I'm a brit and man I wish I had it, I think COM is one of Nomura's best plot lines.

The tgs trailer totally changed my mind. I really want to get it now!

Just watch the game's opening FMV. That should be enough to convince you. Not to mention that the gameplay is a combination of Birth by Sleep, Days, and Coded.

*Sigh*... I wish I had BbS. Why are PSPs so expensive?!

But it's a fun game! don't you wnt to battle Roxas? :3

I agree with kingdomlanelover. That trailer totally changed my mind

Well, people call 358/2 Days a side game pretty much due to the fact that it took place after during KH1, before and during CoM, and before KH2. A lot of people think the game is "pointless" all because of the fact that there was a 14th member named Xion, and that the gamr didn't truly revolve around Roxas. It's kinda stupid if you ask me, I mean sure the gameplay was repetitive and it took place in the past. But that doesn't mean it's a "side game". The game filled some plot-holes and had a great story.

This is my reasoning for calling Days a side game:

BBS, KH1, KH2, and 3D = confirmed by Nomura to be main games

Re:/CoM and Re:/coded = confirmed by Nomura to be bridge games

Days = ?

Overall, I just felt the entire game was rather redundant. A new XIV member comes and supposedly makes this huge impact on everyone... only for them to completely forget about her and everything she did at the end.

I completely agree. I kinda wish that Xion won't be 'saved' by Sora and that she can be forgotten forever, it would be like a little easter egg that the gamers know yet the characters never will

@Crimson Why wouldn't you want Xion to be saved? She was the only female character besides Larxene and Aqua that I liked.

Well because her story was ended quite dramatically and she is one of the very few KH characters that have ended in such a way, so I think it should stay like that...

Also if everyone was saved, Ventus would have a twin, kairi would have two twins (namine and Xion, they have the same face), I think its a suitable destiny for them all :

But hey please go ahead and try and convince me otherwise, I'd like to hear your opinion :)

Yeah, from what other people have said, I am starting to believe that being saved doesn't necessarily mean the person is gonna come back. A few of the people will come back, but not all, that's my opinion at least. We'll see what Nomura does though won't we.

Don't really have one, other than they need more girls in KH that can fight for themselves, like Xion, Larxene, and Aqua. Namine and Kairi (no offense to any of their fans) are the weakling little girls of the series. The only time I've ever considered Kairi even remotely cool was when she took down the Heartless in TWTNW. Other than that... she's a wimp. *sighs* Sorry, went off on a tangent completely unrelated to the thread topic.
