the fact that a teaser trailer for BBS is in KH2 would suggest not

Was the secret trailer apart of Vanilla KH2? I always thought it was Final Mix?

And Nomura had further plans for the series before BBS came out

so with kh3 remind yozora cut scenes

who thinks the crystalization was the true canon scene

that will tie into kh4

I think Nomura hinted that losing was the canon ending, but I can’t remember where I saw that.

personally I feel they both might be canon

the winning scene just takes place after the crystal

cause if sora was a crystalized it would explain his "sleeping" for 7days

A interesting parallel I noticed was Sora getting froze up looked like a more flashy version of what was happening to Xion at the end of 358 Days

Only difference being that Sora was encased in the ice/crystal while Xion “dissolves” so to speak.
