It wouldn't make sense

Nomura sticks to making his own villains.

Maleficent is already becoming irrelevant as always. And Chernabog feels like a true mastermind of all Disney Villains. Plus (and unpopular opinion) he’s my favorite Disney Villain. I do like him in KH1, but DDD did him dirty and it’s insulting

He's a villain for one movie lol

He just commands demons

I know Nomura loves making original KH Villains more. But aside from those I love (such as Vanitas, Ansem, Xemnas and Marluxia), I feel like Chernabog is the only villain that’s demanded to be taken seriously

He has as much relevancy as Maleficent if that's the case

I do recommend reading Kingdom Keepers

Not a fan of fanfiction

Cause that’s the only series in Disney Media that gets it right

They never tend to get any of the canon right

In terms of concept

House of Mouse was good, don’t get me wrong, but didn’t get the concept correct when it comes to crossover Disney characters from different films

Oh and I’m talking about House of Villains just for correction

Either way, my original point still stands

Disney villains are typically second place with the main villains being original characters

Both Disney nor Final Fantasy are gonna have their Villains be secondaries

I’m saying that I was told that he was originally gonna be the big bad before they switched it to Ansem. At least from what I was told

I know it’s never gonna happen because Nomura prefer going for Original KH Villains (who I believe the next is probably gonna be the Master of Masters)

I will say this, Chernabog is only great in KH1 yet it was insulting how he was portrayed in DDD (I’m only talking about the entire series and not in general of Disney media). He, Maleficent, KH1 Jafar, Oogie, KH2 Pete, Hades (KH1, 2 and 3), KH1 Captain Hook, Sark, MPC, and Davy Jones are like the only Disney Villains I actually like and are well brought up. The rest are either underwhelming or just complete lucklusters or are complete trash

If I had to guess it's because people probably assumed from this piece of artwork in the KH1 Design Document that Chernobog was meant to have a bigger presence in the game
