They're not gonna make KH4 accessible to newcomers

If newcomers want to play the game, they can easily buy the All in One package for a cheap price and play them to understand the story

And then they can buy KH4

Low-key didn't like how they made KH3 accessible for new fans but it's whatever

technically they can write KH4 in a way where the previous games don't really matter. give a short recap of KH3's ending. Power of Waking might be still relevant so they can use it in KH4's plot. Concepts like heartless, nobodies and unversed should no longer matter. A new player doesn't really need to understand how heartless or nobodies work. They only need to know that they are the bad guys

heartless and nobodies were only important for why there are multiple versions of certain characters

and in KH1

They don’t even need to know who Xehanort is, so yeah. Wouldn’t be that tough to write.
