You got an odd sense of humor friend-o.

But yeah joking aside. The one time I let you guys have 2 days free of no "lower your expectations " you get mad that I didn't do my usual thing to let you guys have fun after almost a year or two of me doing it ? :knuckles:

Snake meant why do you get bent out of shape for the Disney posts but not for the false advertising and lies during SGF like the rest of us

Cause I knew square wasn't advertising kh4 there and stuff. Also in regards to Disney posts cause disney is disney. They didnt pull the same shit that square did

kh4 better live up to expectations

the only redeeming quality of lack of info and gaps is if the game is so good it was worth it

so more wait time= better the game should be

whenthedarknessisjustright

I personally think thats a myth.

They worked on Duke Nuke Em 4ever for like 12, Mass Effect Andromeda for like 6, KH3(a game i like, mind you, but folks is still weird about), 9, Metroid Prime 4 has taken 10, Beyond Good and Evil has taken like 12 oh and Aliens Colonial Marines took also like 7-8 years or whatever

Lots of time doesnt make a good game, making a good game makes a good game.

Hello old people

I cannot wait for KH4 news!

Something that also needs to be considered in those situations is that the product we end up with is not the same product that got worked on during that time.
For example KH3 was like a year into production when they decided to change engine, which took another year to fix so a 6 dev cycle is more like 4 years on the actual game with 2 wasted years at the start.

Similarly, Prime 4 started out with a different developer before being switched by Nintendo so half of that dev time relates to a game that does not exist

and the game retro were working on before they got given MP4 looked quite interesting

let's not forget FFXV was technically in development for like 15 years and it still turned out comparatively trash because of all the dev hell it went through. so yeah, dev time definitely does not automatically mean a good game is coming lol

and XV is a game i liked btw, but it definitely could have been better. I'll eventually make my way back around to trying Royal Edition to see if that improved it a lot lol
