I don’t think they’re going to start with the whole digital only thing until 2028.
I wouldn’t worry too much either way, cuz square mentioned wanting to continue to do physical copies regardless.

Sony isn't doing it until 2028, but companies are already doing digital only, or even in Square's case, they're still requiring a download with the physical copy of Revelation

it's not like Rebirth where there were download discs you could use

You already cannot play kh1.5+2.5 collection even if you own a physical disc if there's no internet

It's theoretically impossible without some law suit stuff but as it stand under their own policies they have every right to do this
