There are multiple people who’ve been with Nomura since the early games, even KH1. They could carry the torch, at least until the arc is complete.

like 16 was 4 years in development before it was announced and its finally coming next year thats close to standard dev time

but anycase im sure theres back up writers (hope there is) that can carry KH forward

Man’s got a large team. I think people overstate just how much of the games are Nomura’s direct work.

he and his team has proven it now they making 16

I think people also forget that there's such thing as promotions a person who has worked on KH combat can be promoted to Director

And even then you won’t have as good of a grasp as someone who worked on it from the outset
