Which is very odd, unless Nomura has decided to delve deeper into the actual blades of the Keyblades and the hilts.

Well, idk if this has been said. But from the trailer Xemnas can use a keyblade. I mean the guy in the chair has a nobody symbol and the suit is the pretty much the same suit that Xemnas wears at the end of KH2. So the real question is why did he not use a keyblade. My guess is that Terra's heart was sometimes able to be controlled and other times not. So, he did nto want to risk using a keyblade and losing control of it at times without knowing when.
