I think the suggested level was added for that continuation feel in a way that level 1 wouldn't make sense. It must be from progress at that point in the game then.

the only thing that bugged me and still does is lack of jumping

Movement is a huge change which is good feels like no matter how I turn it doesn't have this jitter

I am kinda fine with lack of jumping

I like characters having their own roles

Barret and Aerith are good at range but terrible up close, but can still dish out an attack or two if needed

Cloud is great at close combat but not in the air, now he can shoot waves at enemies from a distance so it's not a total loss

Yuffie can dish it in the air and on the ground

Booooo

At least I can do it after I finish the game

Still sucks a little
