I dunno, I think the ending left things wide open for a sequel and it did pretty well, it's not out of the realm of possibility it does get a sequel.

Yeah same- narrativly I can definitely see how this would be hard to top, like quality wise, but there's still a whole world to explore, and the main cast is strong af- i was only like partially kidding when I said Metaphor should be Atlus's new third pillar- it has an infetsimal amount of potential.

the gear itself doesn't offer any build variety because build variety is based on the archetype system. they could completely remove all the gear and nothing substantial would change your build

and when you reach the point where it starts mattering heismay gets it anyway with his lvl 20 passive

and the weapons with affinities are useless because normal attacks are useless in metaphor except for Strohl
