I found this riddle in this book that helps you get smarter as an example. it's really real as the teacher who wrote the book states.

A History teacher came over to a Math teacher and said:

"I have three daughters. what is each of their ages?"

"It lacks information." Answers the Mathematic.

Wanting to give more information, the History teacher responds:

"Multiplying their ages, the answer is 36!"

"It still lacks information." Answers the Math teacher.

"By coincidence, by adding their ages the result is the number of that house!" Completed the father of the three mysterious daughters

Yes, apparently they don't want to tell us the number of the house.

 

The Math teacher, looked at the direction poin[/color][/size]ted, shaking his head.

"It still lacks information!!"

So, with inspiration, the father affirmed:

"the oldest daughter plays piano"

"Alright! Now I can solve it!" Answered the math teacher, with a smile.

demmy, I meant, there can only be ONE oldest. the TWINS are not necessaryly the oldest.

Ok so if there are twins but they can't have the same age, they one must have been born on December 31 and the next on January 1. I'm going to guess 1,2, and 18. I probably over analyzed this though haha.

he meant the oldest 2 can't have the same age, the younger two are twins, and have the same age

I'm guessing:

The youngest 2 are twins and they're both 2, the oldest is 9 (I guessed right after I read the question so I didn't bother reading replies-- if there's already an answer then please delete this post)

to me it still lacks information, i don't get it.
