During today's Nintendo Direct, Square Enix revealed a brand-new trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV. While the trailer did not reveal a release date, it did however, reveal that the title will launch as a simultaneous release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S and PC.

confirmed for switch 2 was all I needed

So happy the famine is finally over! Is it just me or does Luxord (or whatever his real name is) look older?

The instant I heard about this trailer mentioned by the Novice Network in Final Fantasy XIV, I knew I had to view it. Looks like I shall have to preorder this game (and the next Final Fantasy VII title) twice!!

I must've watched this trailer dozens of time at this point and felt any hype from it sadly. Quadratum is just very underwhelming as I feel they're capable of making something so much more compelling with it being an original named world. I get that it's supposed to be a copy/paste of Shibuya, but I feel like it's focusing too much on realism and doesn't have the KH style/soul to it. I'm hoping that other worlds look and feel more stylized and unique.

On a more positive note, I'm excited to see the roles Vali, Sigurd, Strelitzia, and Luxord play into the story. I wasn't surprised to see Xehanort back, but I wonder what his role will be here. I'm still optimistic for the game as a whole and will eagerly await the reveal of any other world in future trailers.
