That is just your opinion. Not everything you said is a lagit fact. I could explain but to keep everyone from getting any more confused then they already are I won't.

???

The basis of my argument was that "Kairi's situation is NO DIFFERENT than Riku's; they both underwent a Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony. Thus, her condition as a Keyblade wielder and Riku's are identical." That is a statement of fact, not opinion. In fact, the only opinion I expressed was, "Hers, perhaps, just has yet to be discovered and/or developed more. I am confident that Nomura will expand upon her role as a Keyblade wielder in the future," and this is merely speculation, which I've acknowledged. Nevertheless, the opinionated part of my statement is irrelevant to providing an answer to the original question.

I totally agree that she is not a true keyblade wielder because she cant summon destinys embrace but because she is connected to aqua and sora she can use it without disipearing but some one has to give it to her.

The problem with that is that we don't know whether she can't summon Destiny's Embrace. While she might not before Riku handed to her, we don't know if she can't after the hand off.

Can't we just pretend she was never given a keyblade?

To what end?

first of all how did riku even get destiny's embrace?

Unknown. It is possible he got the same way he got Way To The Dawn, but I doubt it.

bambii, I agree with your answer.

Kairi hasnt underwent the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony with Aqua or anyone.

Exactly. Aqua didn't perform the ritual. Kairi just touched it. She didn't take hold of it.

Does anyone read the ultimanias (very thouroughly)?

Q7: Why can Kairi use a keyblade?

A: Because she was touched by Aqua

I'd like to take a moment to note that the only thing that classifies wielding is to physically hold the weapon in question and use it. To that end, Kairi is a keyblade wielder.

Agreed. If you can touch it and hold it physically then your a Keyblade Wielder. nuff said.

lol, exactly. I don't know where the erroneous complication of "oh, but she can't actually summon her own Keyblade willingly" came from.

This isnt over yet. Now first of all the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania books did not come out in America and I doubt Australia and Europe. Second of all Kairi accidently touched Aqua's Keyblade. Third of all Aqua was never looking foward to passing the power of the Keyblade to Kairi. Fourth of all if Aqua really did want to pass on the Keyblade to Kairi then I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have casted that magic on Kairi so someone else would protect her (Sora & Riku).

I'll admit, Kairi getting a Keyblade from simply grabing Aqua's does seem a bit off, but there is a lot of logic in KH that I don't understand or agree with.

As for why would Aqua cast that spell on Kairi to keep her safe if Kairi had gained the keyblade, this is answered with age. Kairi is what, 3 or 4 years old in BBS when this happened?

There is also the point that any weapons effectiveness is based on the wielder. Even 15 year old Kairi wasn't vary effective with the keyblade.

ooo, another point that might work in Kairi's favor is that there seems to be a waiting period before one can use a keyblade after it is given to them (Riku did get his hands on one again till 10 years after Terra gave him the power.)

No you didn't really give me answer I was looking for and thats not a logical explanation.

No you didn't really give me answer I was looking for and thats not a logical explanation.

If you are referring to the Age explanation, I disagree. Aqua even wanted Ven, a capable keyblade wielder to go back to the Land of Departure where it would be safe. Plus, Kairi is a Princesses of Heart, she has a heart of pure light. Someone Aqua is sworn to protect.

As for the Waiting Period explanation, that doesn't enough facts to really support it, so it is not a good explanation.

Aqua didn't want to make Kairi a wielder. It was by accident. (Although according to Mickey there are no accidents in Kingdom Hearts, so it was fate yadda, yadda, yadda). Razorwind Keyblade. God sakes! The people of this site do not know exactly everything about Kingdom Hearts! We didn't make the game and, although we may try, we can't give a really good explanation to your questions, because we don't know all the details. Just face it, that what people have said, particuarly rikunobodyxiii, has said is about as good as an answer as any you'll find on this site.

She isn't a true Keyblade Wielder, she is more of an "Accidental Keyblade Wielder." Aqua did not perform the ceremony with Kairi in BBS, Kairi accidentally touched Aqua's Keyblade when she was running from trouble. I've seen before where Nomura said that Kairi was not fit as a true wielder; I guess that goes with her role as being a Princess of Heart, since her heart is full of light and she would be in danger if she were a Keyblade Wielder since her heart seems easy to detect with it's light and thus would put her into more danger. Unless Nomura gives her character a big change for KH3, it is hard to determine whether it was all accidental or if she truly does have a role to be a wielder of some sorts, though it'd be pretty tricky for her role as a PoH.

Edit: I deleted all the post that were off-topic so please try to stay on-topic and I've moved this thread to Speculation.

Agreed.

Quick theory: the keyblades wielded by most of the good main characters are keyblades from the realm of light (Except Mickey who ran around with one from the Dark Realm.) Could it be that be cause Kairi is a Princesses of heart that she has a special relationship with those keyblades?

This would help explain either theory or whether Kairi is a full keyblade wielder or not. This relationship could explain how Kairi was able to use a keyblade after it was handed to her. Or the theory could suggest that the Keyblade passed to her through Aqua cause of Kairi's nature as a PoH.

In the end, to answer this question fully and correctly, we need more data.

But sora is also an acidential Keyblade weider to then. so I have to disagree. I think the rules are different for princess of heart. Becuase maybe she didn;t relize she could weild one, and sicne riku was the only one out the three of them to "actutlly havebecome a full fledge Keyblade master" It just shows what he can do. So maybe she can summon her keyblde now,OR it was a one time thing and the rules simply don;t apply to her whatsoever, so in KH3 or 3D she could be seen weidlerign one.

Riku isn't a Keyblade Master yet. That is why some of 3D will be Sora and Riku taking the Mark of Mastery exam.

No. She only uses Destineys Embrace for 2O seconds.

how do you know its for 20 seconds lol and she is a true keyblade wielder i guess because she touched aqua's keyblade meaning the keyblade chose her and she would probably be a magic user because aqua gave her some of her magic.

sora isnt an actually an accidental 1 since his powers come from ventus its kinda like heritage or something.

Did you even read all the posts? And it was for a short amount of time.

ya but some arent true actually im not sure if any are true.

I don't understand. I did not forget about Soul Eater or Way To The Dawn. What is their negative connection to the theory?
