tutti frutti. First off I just want to point out that I played this installment (re:coded) of the series once and didn't care for it too much so feel free to correct me with this next part of the thread.

Anyway, I vaguely remember Namine mentioning something about Diz putting data, or some other object, inside of Sora when he was asleep for a year in order to get his memories back. Does anyone else, along with myself, think that whatever DiZ/Ansem the Wise put inside Sora will have a great impact in KH:DDD and/or KH3 with the final battle of Xehanort? What are some of your opinions on what this data/object may be? I know we won't find out until the time comes, but just something to put out there until we get the answers we rightfully deserve. Cliff hangers are something else.

I'm pretty sure in BBS that DiZ said that it could be used to "set things right" So, yes I think it will have a big impact, maybe its a way to find him and Aqua in the RoD, or find Ven, or even something to do with Roxas and Xion being saved.

Wrong, he said "Maybe he(Sora) can set things right." He said he "hid the results of his research inside him, transplanting the data to where it might best serve a purpose".

I don't know what the data will do, but I know it will be used during an important time, which I assume will be in KH3. When I find out what the data does I'll tell you lol.

Actually, according to an interview from Re:coded's Ultimania, the data will be used to heal the "pain" of those who are "hurting". So it will be used in KHIII, more than likely.

I quote, with the proof italicized:

Speaking of the Birth by Sleep secret cutscene, Ansem the Wise says that he hid his research results in Sora. This complies with what happens in Re:Coded when Namine says DiZ (Ansem the Wise) has hid something inside Sora. Is that mystery remaining unsolved?

Nomura: Yes. Namine added data to the Jiminy Journal in order to convey that the

Opps, I was going for the "might best serve a purpose" bring inside of Sora part >.< I was a bit too lazy to look up the exact quote at the time

I don't recall that.

Well, we saw DiZ putting the data into Sora in the BBS Final Mix secret ending, right? So it may be answered as early as then. At this point, I'm done making speculations about future games, but I feel it may have to do with Xion and keeping her remembered. Or it may have some relation to kingdom hearts itself. Who knows?

tutti frutti. DenizenofTwilight just to point out if you're referring to me as "she", I am a guy. But nonetheless, I'm looking forward to how whatever DiZ put inside Sora during the one year hibernation will effect the future of the series, such as defeating Master Xehanort/Xehanort or granting Sora an important ability. It's just one of those things to look forward to. But I'm sure that it has to do with his reasearching in hopes to defeating MX/Xehanort. It should be interesting to see in the somewhat distant future.

-facepalm- Sorry about that. It's funny. I used to assume that all of the KH fans were mostly guys. But on YouTube, at least users I know, most of them turned out to be girls. I guess I've been assuming a lot of the fans are girls now. So sorry! Maybe I should just stop assuming. LOL

Oh, and in case you're wondering, I'm a girl (though you might have known that). That might have something to do with my slipup, too.

tutti frutti. No offense taken, it is hard to deter the genders of people online these days. It would be crazy if DiZ found out about MX/Xehanort's plan, and gave Sora something that would greatly help with stopping him. Perhaps an ability, keyblade, item, but only time will tell.
