I was just looking at the chamber in Radiant Garden and realizing that it looked exactly like the one in Castle Oblivion? I know Xehanort built it but how did he know to construct it exactly like that? I didn't really notice the connection until I saw the chains on the walls exactly as the appear in BBS in Castle Oblivion. THere is a single throne in the center.

Two theories:

1: Master Eraqus is inside of Apprentice Xehanort. It is possible that Xehanort stumbled across them. This could take the form of conscious awareness of the memories or vague ideas that Xehanort acted on.

2: The possibility of Xehanort having some sort of contact with Aqua is reasonable. How or why Aqua would tell him, unknown.

Well...neither of these are very good. Hopefully someone else will have a better theories.

"There is some time between bbs and kh1 so..."

the answer is the mysterious figure. Honestly, that is my best guess at the moment.

Coincidence. Or maybe Aqua's armor did some magic der.

Yeah, we don't really know why Xemnas does this or how he knows about Castle Oblivion or how he knows about Ven being there. Personally, I think it's memories from Eraqus, I'm glad I'm not the only one to think so.

Same here.

Like other members have said, it is unknown at the moment why they look so similar. It could have something to do with Xehanort and the Organization. Your quextion likely will be answered in KH:3D.

I thought the Chamber of Repose had Nobody symbols on the walls, and the Chamber of Waking had the Mark of Mastery symbols? Or was it the other way around? Huh, or maybe I remember incorrectly.

Anyway, I'm not sure why they look so much alike, but then again, there are only so many ways to make a white room with a throne in the middle. Then again, the reminiscent chains are a bit much to just consider a coincidence. I agree that it could very well be his connection with Master Eraqus. Since Xemnas does have some of Terra in him, whom I believe had Master Eraqus's heart in him. So, yeah, it could be the vague and indirect, but still there, connection that he has with Eraqus. We'll just have to wait and see to be certain *shrugs*

maybe its gonna be revealed in bbsv2.

Xemnas has been looking for a mysterious room, the chamber of Waking (where Ven is) inside castle oblivion; The chamber of Repose (with the nobody symbols) was definately modeled after this room. The question is how does Xemnas knows about this room and that Ven is sleeping in it? But that was speculated above, probably Eraqus. Just wanted to say that's why the look alike!
