Posted May 14, 201114 yr What was it? What came to your mind when you heard Dream Drop Distance? My reaction: " I hope it sounds better in japanese" Or in other words, I didn't like it, and still I don't.
May 14, 201114 yr Oh, the name? I thought it was just a subtittle, not the real name. I didn't dislike it, tough,i found it very smart about the three D's thing..
May 14, 201114 yr I was with Aaron at the time... it was hilarious, we thought the name was quite silly. Now I've come to accept it, however.
May 14, 201114 yr My thoughts were that it sounded silly. And that Square Enix was running out of title ideas...but I'm sure the title has a meaning to the game.
May 14, 201114 yr My first thoughts were they went from a really deep title (Birth by Sleep) to one that sounded like the name of a bad Pokemon episode....
May 14, 201114 yr If dreams are relevant to the plot I hope nightmares are, too. >3 That was my first thought.
May 14, 201114 yr WAIT! is it already out? man i need to be updated No, it's not out yet. They're just talking about the title of the game. There hasn't even been any new info about it recently.
May 14, 201114 yr I thought, "That's the Japanese for you. They tend to use gratuitous English and come up with horrible names with it." lol
May 15, 201114 yr I thought the name sounded a little weird, like, "Whaaat..kinda name is that? " But I didn't hate it, now I think it sounds pretty neat. cX
May 15, 201114 yr This is exactly what went through my mind: Dream. Drop. Distance. ...It reminds me of cotton candy. Or a little girl's pony movie. And then me and my friend started making fun of it, even though the title makes complete sense now.
May 16, 201114 yr Funny, I found myself trying to figure out what the three D's meant. At first, I thought it had something to do with the 3DS, but I came to accept the official name.
May 16, 201114 yr I didn't think the title sounded right. It just didn't flow the way the other titles did.
May 16, 201114 yr My first reaction was, what the hell? Dream Drop Distance, this game must mainly be about dreaming. Then I found out DDD is indeed (notice the d's in the word indeed) 3D's.
May 17, 201114 yr I kinda freaked out because i thought the third kingdom hearts was gonna be a ds game and i was gonna jump off of somthing... i have since come to except the name.
May 17, 201114 yr My first thought was, "Did they really think it would be clever for the title to have three words that start with a 'D'? Silly Japanese." It doesn't sound that great in Japanese, btw. Worse even because katakana really butchers english words. They pronounce it 'doriimu doroppu disutansu'. *sigh*
May 17, 201114 yr i was like"WOW! Is this finally kh game where is travelling in dream world.?" please read my story http://kh13.com/forum/topic/17444-tenebrae-anima/page__gopid__373034#entry373034
May 17, 201114 yr i didn't really know what i thought at first, but now i'm like "well the 3D's fit because everything starts with a D, so lets just see how it all fits in."
May 20, 201114 yr Well, first I was like "Wow, it's pink", then after I read it I though "Lul, three D's, clever. ", finally I thought "What the heck is their problem with naming games?!" Anyway,I guess I can accept it now.
May 30, 201114 yr First thoughts? I can't wait to see what new things they implement in the gameplay to make it even more dynamic.
May 30, 201114 yr Author My thoughts were that it sounded silly. And that Square Enix was running out of title ideas...but I'm sure the title has a meaning to the game. I hope so.
