Which item do you pick as your strength?

You learn 'em pretty late in FM+ with out it. I don't remember the numbers though...

Whatever gave you the idea that you couldn't get Final Form without shield? Final Form randomly appears while going into the other three forms after the Roxas/Sora fight. I've never grabbed the shield, and yet I've always gotten Final Form.

 

Maybe it's a glitch in my game but unless I pick the Struggle Hammer or the Dream Shield as Roxas, I can never get Final Form. It's always been that way for me since I got the game.

Maybe you just haven't tried long enough. Sometimes it takes me a while to get it. It's alot easier in FM+ with the Two Become One. What I do is I just go somewhere I can quickly exit the world, and just keep going Master Form. If I don't get it, I leave the world and come back to try again. And eventually I get Final Form.

Is THAT how you get Final Form? I always thought that you wander around a bit, kill soem things and then eventually get it. I didn't know you had to use all three forms to get the last one. I'm such an idiot...hehe

I always pick the shield and let go of the sword. O__O It just seems to work best for me, lol.

I tend to not use very much magic when it comes to playing as Sora. I'm more of a button masher, running around and hitting stuff. Therefore, the Sword is what suits me best.

Staff and give up the sword...don't judge me.

The seild as it defends. I want to defend not offend.

In KH1, I picked the Staff for that extra 2 MP and gave up the Sword so my defense wasn't too low.

In KH2, I picked the Shield.

 

These were both on the hardest difficulty.
