Do you think KH3 will be for PS3 and Wii U

With the Wii U coming out Ive asked myself if there was a possibility that KH3 might be on it. Now I know Square Enix works with Nintendo sometimes (obviously) which raises this question. Considering the Wii U is an HD console, there is a large chance it might be on it, but on the other hand the controller may not have the ability to produce the graphics that the console has which would make it sort of a hassle to switch from T.V. to controller. Of course, this game isnt in the making yet so who knows what is going to happen.

First, do you not know about the controller and how it has a screen on it and how it is a 1 screened DS basically and second, Xbox is Microsoft, not Nintendo. Now I did consider the fact that handhelds is where Square wants to put Kingdom Hearts, but they might put it on Wii U for profits depending on the when it is realeased (it wouldnt raise profit if it was close to the systems realease although I doubt it would be that way) and the fact that it will probably have the same graphics of PS3. There is a possibility, but its not likely. Still possible.

Kingdom Hearts 3 has already been confrimed for the PS3. I don't know if it will come out on any other systems. A Kingdom Hearts game is usally made for one system, unless it's remade.

SE has always been loyal to Sony. I don't think Sony would be too happy if they put it out for another system. KH is, for the most part, a playstation exclusive. Only a couple of side games have been put onto other consoles and those were only handhelds. Nope, I don't think it's likely.

Eh, Square Enix could always pull off a FFXIII-type move and put the game on all three HD consoles, PS3, 360, and Wii U. Actually, I'd kinda like that, seeing as I'm a Nintendo fan, and Square Enix has said that they would like to support the Wii U. And what is this, "controller can't handle the graphics of the console"? If Nintendo made the controller to be able to stream the content that's on the TV, why would they make it so that the console can make graphics that can't be reproduced on the aforementioned controller? >_<

Numbered titles goes on standing consoles, NOT HANDHELDS SAID NOMURA, So KH3 is a numbered title which I think WILL stick to Square's tradition to put the numbered KH titles in Play Station Consoles. If nothing comes from PS by the time "3" releases it will surely come out for PS3. Or the nearest chance it's that maybe they will release it for XBOX, WII U and PS3 because it's the last game in the Xehanort Saga, but I doubt it.

I think they develope the games to change when they go to the controller, but the system isnt out so who knows and the Wii U isnt a next gen console? Lol it is a next gen console and it is finally in the same league as PS3 and Xbox. What Im saying is is that there is a possibility that we will see it for Wii U a next gen console. Why not? The other two consoles are having their lives extended by another 3-5 years, so really the Wii U fits right in. You're taking what Nomura said too literally. Besides, it's not like that's really Nomrua'sdescision.

No such thing as 'loyalty' in business. square is a business. They want to make money. When the PS1 and PS2 were making huge splashes, and they had fallen out with Nintendo, they made their big games for Sony. Sonys position has nearly been reversed since then, so Square has been gradually dropping support. They do seem to realize that they are the only ones keeping the PSP alive, but now that the 3DS is here, I'm betting more of their projects will start moving over to that, since it pffers superior capabilities to a PSP, where they originally only had the original DS to turn to.

It has not been confirmed for the PS3. There is nothing confirmed about KH3 besides the fact that it will one day exist, and all the other KH games are leading up to it. A KH game is usually made for one system because there's usually only one system that would support that type of game. The PS2 games were basically part of a package of SE games from when Sony and SE were very close. Also, the PS2 was the best selling console. All the other KH's had no way of being ported to any other system.

That not a reason, that's your opinion. By porting the game, Square opens itself up to a much higher profit level. Especially with the Wii U, considering Ninetndo's established base. The PS3 has a very small user base, so it's not exactly profitable to make a game for only one console if it can be avoided (Versus XIII is supposedly to resource intensive to be ported to the 360, but you will notice that XIII was not, and it was ported)

The Wii U controller can function in the exact same way as a regular controller if that's what you're talking about. It has dual analog sticks and buttons, and anything else can be mapped to the touchscreen.

You can't rule out the X-Box 360 either, it has literally got everything you will need for a KH game, and has a bigger fanbase than the PS3 in the US. If you think that KHIII is going to have graphics so detailed and data intensive that the 360 couldn't handle it, you are going to be very, very disappointed. Same goes for amount of content and all that, I have serious doubts that the 360 wouldn't be able to handle it.

 

In conclusion, no one knows anything about the console KHIII will be on (other than it not being on a handheld), and anyone who says they do is lying. You can't say "It won't be on [insert console here]" because you don't know. You can however say "I doubt it will be on [insert console here]" or "I think it will be on [insert console here]" as long as you explain why.

I'm pretty sure you're right that Sony said that about the PS3, but for some reason a lot of interviews this year has had them state that like it's a brand new thing, so I figured I was imagining things.

Anyways, it's not Nomura's decision, he says things like that because he's a figurehead. He's a well known SE member that the company can use as a conduit to the players. He can say he'd like to develop a console, adn threaten to quit if he REALLY wants to, but when it comes down to it, Nomura isn't the one who's really in control of stuff like that.

Moving into a broader spectrum here, I've found a lot of KH fans seem to think that Nomura personally does everything for the franchise. Most directors don't even get to play their games very much (if at all) when they're under development.

Actually no. What I was saying is that Square puts numbered titles in PS consoles and if it isn't any new generation console from PS by the time 3 releases, then I think they will stick with PS3. If they want to make something special because it's the last in the Xehanort Saga they might release it in XBOX, WII U and PS3, but I seriously doubt it.
