i know why 358/2 days is named that it is actually pronounced as three hundred fifty eight days before 2 as in it takes place within the 358 days after kh 1 and before 2 plus at the end of the game it shows Roxas saying something (but i dont rember) while he is in twilight townthen it says The First Day

Yeah, that's basically it. Or you can think of it 358 and over 2. As in, Roxas was in the Organization for 358 days. Then we saw him out of it for two days, which is when KH2 begins.

The way you pronounce it is, "Kingdom Hearts Three-Five-Eight Days over Two"

'358 Days' means all the days Roxas was in the Organization. If you add the 7 days at the beginning of KH2, where you play as Roxas, you get 365 day which is a year.

the '/2' part means that all the 358 days are divided on two persons. Nomura said in an interview that which of these two persons they're referring to is for the fans themselves to decided. Is it Roxas and Xion, Roxas and Axel, Roxas and Riku, Riku and Xion? You decided.

Actually, days 357 and 358, Roxas had already left. 357 he left and fought Xion, and 358 he went to free KH, but ended up losing to Riku. Then 359 was the first day of KH2.

Actually, if I remember correctly, Nomura said it was Roxas’ time in the Organization divided between Roxas and Xion. It was to show that the game was, in some ways, equally Xion’s story, but also to show the yo-yo effect between them. That when Roxas got stronger, Xion got weaker and vice versa.

Well, if you think about it, didn't the whole game last 358 AND A HALF days (Because Roxas was knocked out halfway through day 358). Hence 358/2.

Actually, if he was knocked out halfway through day 358, then the game would be 357 and a half days. Also, it's pronounced three five eight over two days. Besides, he was defeated at the end of day 358 anyways. The reason why has already been stated. 358 was the number of days, and the over 2 referred to Roxas and Xion.

Wow, this is confusing me. So, it refers to Roxas and Xion being the main two Keyblade wielders in the game?

358/2 got its name because......

1. It was Roxas's time with the organization

And........

2. The 2 stands for xion and Roxas because sora had Roxas as a nobody and xion was sora's memories so sora had 2 fragments of him missing which for the standing of The 2 in 358/2

And..... Keep this memorised.

3. Xion was a imperfect replica of Roxas and if you remember in one of the levels in wonderland xion appears as ventus meanig if she was a perfect replica she would look exactly like Roxas making her character Ventus.

Actually, she looks like Ven because that's how Xigbar sees her. Her appearance differs between who's looking at her. Saix just sees her as what she is, a puppet. Axel and Roxas see her as the black-haired Kairi. Most other members see her hooded form, nobody knows what Xemnas sees. Some say Sora, some say Ven, and others say hooded. And at the end, she looks like Sora, because she has almost all of his memories

I think she might look like Namine to Axel.

I think she might look like Namine to Axel.

No one sees her as Namine. It's shown that Axel sees her as the black-haired Kairi, like the scene when he fights her at the Twilight Town Mansion.

Oh, my bad. I was confused about something else. Everyone saw her as they thought she was or had to do. (Like being a puppet to Saix.)

I always thought it meant "I spent 358 days with my 2 friends" or something like that.

I know this thread is a little outdated, but I just thought this was cute. :)
