Should our cutscenes...

No subtitles. You can easily hear what the characters are saying and it looks better for people who likes to make AMVs to have no subtitles in the cutscenes they're using.

I agree with JTD95, I prefer no subtitles, unless of course we're talking about Japanese cutscenes, in which case english subtitles would be appreciated.

i i think you should have subs i really good, but i agree that it's annoying to watch an AWV when there is subs, but i want subs especially on the final mix cutsences

Well let's consider that there are some persons in the forums who come frome another places out of america, I come from Mexico for example. Even though I haven't got any problem yet, there might be in the future installments some words that we won't be able to understand and subtitles might be useful to add that word to our vocabulary. Like many here said they use unsubtitled videos for their AMV's, so I would prefer that you have an archive for both, subtitled and unsubtitled videos. That way everyone would be happy.

He means should he leave the subtitles in the cutscenes when he uploads them, or should he take them out. If you take a look at the Birth by Sleep cutscenes on this site; you'll notice that there is no subtitles there because they were taken out.

What he's asking is: should he remove the subtitles when uploading future videos, or should he keep them.

heh as if! i voted SO muahahahahaahahahh THEY SHOULD ADD and they wont need to add cause there is allready subtitles in every single KH 2 ,1 cut scene they should just record the cutscene AND NOT BOTHER with subtitle but i think it is a good idea to add subtitle just because some people might have broken speakers and some just have bad hearing and you cant revert my vote so i think subtitles should be on makes sense for them to be on

It's sad that more people are voting than commenting on why. The majority of the people actually commenting vote for no subtitles, the majority currently winning says yes.

I think our cutscenes shouldn't have subtitles. Yes, subtitles are fine for the game, but we're talking about whether they should have subtitles when Danne adds them to the site (not whether Square Enix should include them in future games). Personally, I don't really watch the cutscenes on the site for the sake of watching them, I download them and use them in amv's. It causes less of a hassle when you don't have to crop the clip so you can't see the subtitles. Also, there are some users on the site who don't have an editing program that allows you to crop the clip like sony vegas can do. Besides, you can still tell what the characters are saying without the subtitles. So I don't really see any reason why our cutscenes should have subtitles.

What I think is that we should choose if we want subtitles or not, and we can change that choice during the game. It will be a lot easier because everyone can get what they want. (Subtitles or no subtitles)

I like to use the clips from here to edit videos together, and the subtitles just don't look good in those situations. There's no real need for them, either. Everything is pretty easy to hear.

I want subs for Japanese scenes like everyone else. Otherwise, subs aren't really a big deal but I am fine with things as they are now.
