I'm pretty new here in this forum but I noticed many many MANY posts about how much people hate Demyx, that he is annoying and that the fight against him sucks.

 

I really don't get it. He is superfunny, goofy and sympathetic. And I really enjoyed his boss fight.

 

So could some people list the reasons why you are annoyed of him?

In my opinion Luxord was the annoying one.

Except Luxord. His boss fight is not hard but just annoying and his personality is almost non-existent. He is redundant.

Dude, Luxord is awesome. His boss fight may not be particularly difficult, but saying he has almost no personality is wrong. Luxord is fun in some ways. It's true that he only does something until it's not fun any more, but many anime villains or spoilt rich kids are like this, they make for interesting characters. He's sophisticated and intelligent and the only Organization character that fights Sora straight away, instead of talking to him first.

As for Demyx, his personality is certainly fun, but I have a keen dislike for his 2nd Boss Battle, since I find it the hardest battle in KH2.

Well in my opinion I just think Luxord is no character a KH player remembers the most. If I think about the Organization he would be the last member I would think about.

 

I don't get whats difficult about the Demyx boss fight o.o ...... I beat him with a fairly low lvl on proud mode without taking damage at all. Bail on him and use reflect.

I don't hate Demyx, but I do hate the part in his boss fight where you have a limited ammount of time to kill his water clones, especially in FM when you fight Data Demyx. The times varies too much, and you have to defeat so many. Once I had 10 seconds to defeat 99 clones. That, and when he moves around the area alot with water travelling behind him, making it difficult to get a good combo in.

 

However, I think the toughest boss battle was Xaldin. I have never been able to beat him without at least dying once, even on beginner mode.

I didn't played FM so I can't say anything about that but in KH2 the water clones were no problem. 1-2hits situation 1-2 hits situation and so on...

 

Yeah he was quite strong but I beat him on proud mode without dying at my second playthrough. The end just annoys me since he is almost only flying on his lances or does slash combos so that you can't get a hit. But Reflect is your best friend in that fight.

To each his own, I suppose.

I don't have a problem with Demyx or Loxird, batle or otherwise. Sure, they're not my favorite characters, but I don't have anything against them either.

 

But I hate the Data fight with Luxord in FM. Those little Xs and Os move too fast! You can barely see them, not to mention that you have to win the last game to beat him or you die!

It's not that I can't accept or tolerate it. I tolerate everything. I am just curious which reasons you might have.

Demyx is a pretty fun guy, but I sometimes wonder how he got into the Organization. Or how he even became such a high level nobody. You wouldn't think someone that lazy and silly would have that strong a heart...

Also, I admire him for calling Xigbar Xiggy. I literally stared at the screen for a minute wondering if I was reading right. And of course you gotta love whenever he dodges work when he's with Roxas and his attempt at cheering. I almost wondered if Days was written by fangirls...but there was no yaoi, so I guess Demyx really is that silly.

And Luxord, he's cool, but sometimes while I was playing days I think he overdid the gambling/game metaphors. I loved when he said, "Children don't see life as a gamble like we do," I thought No one sees life as a gamble like you do.

I love Demyx. He’s hilarious and kind. And he’s a musician. Everyone likes musician’s, right? I wouldn’t mind seeing him in another game…

I love demyx! He is hilarious. The only character I don't like very much is saix, but I don't even dislike saix that much. Anyways, demyx is awesome!

I just found it hilarious how Saix was always the calm silent guy and at the fight he goes firetruckin' ape shit on you

I like Demyx, I just don't like the water clones and time limit I think the biggest flaw with that is the command you have to use. When the time is near the end and you still have 1-2 clones, if you accidentally use the command it will eat your time and will cause you to fail. I had that happen to me more times than I care. But the reaction command you can do in the middle of the battle is awesome.

 

The only organization member I don't like is Vexen. He creeps me out

Yeah Vexen is an arrogant disgusting creeper. But at least he has a cool distinct personality and he is good in what he is.

I really don't think Demyx deserves all the hate he gets. I mean, he only has 2 scenes in the entire series (not counting Days). How can anyone possible know enough about him to really hate him? (Though I agree his second boss fight was freaking cheap...100 water clones in 10 seconds, wtf Square-Enix).

But I have to agree, his second boss fight is hard. I had to try, like, 23 times to beat him. And when I did, I felt bad 'cos he's so cute

In my opinion, I think Vexen is a little weird. I just don't like his old-man style......I guess
