It seems square enix has been making all their games (lately) for the playstation 3, and they eventually made ff13 for 360 and they might make some others but fact is I was kinda set on getting an x-box but not anymore. Should I get the PS3 instead?

PS3 of course.

Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes!

My friend got a 360, came over to my house, played my PS3, and BOOM... instant regret.

PS3 indeed, cant go wrong with Free Online play, and plus, Square-Enix games are too big for the 360, you have to switch disks. and Free bluray player, oh yes.

The PlayStation 3 is the most likely out of all consoles currently available to have Kingdom Hearts III. Al though by the time KH3 is finished the PlayStation 3's life will be ending very soon. Perhaps the PS4 will be out or have been announced.

I would say PS3 all the way!! ^^

you should buy system for more than just ff and possible kh game.I play my ps3 more and enjoy system more but 360 isn't bad either. You look at what games are on what systems and make a decsion.

Xbox 360 Vs PS3.

PS3 Online: Free yay! Risking my personal information is a much better alternative to paying less than 15 dollars a month.

Xbox 360 Online: Small fee (No! How in the world will I make 60 dollars a year?), oh well at least it's reliable, secure, fast, and is the most popular online community.

PS3 Exclusives: FINAL FANTASY XXIVXIVC! Oh wait a minute, I am playing as some emo kid on steroids and uses weird powers again? Oh well I guess I will just play one of 3000 call of duty clones. Yeah that's about it. There's nothing else really, except racing games and those are all the same. All the game companies that defined the PS2 stopped making stuff or stopped making stuff they used to make (I'm looking at you Naughty Dog!).

Xbox 360 exclusives: Look, another rpg, hmm alright lets check this out, whoa wait a minute! I'm not playing a linear story line I actually have...choices. Hmm I'll create a save where I kill the king, then I'll create a save where I save him. POWER TO THE PLAYERS! Oh and there's halo and gears of war, the two most popular shooters of all time. There is also have a handful of strategy games.

And because of the recent outage, many Playstation exclusives might be coming to the 360 such as Metal Gear Solid

So go with Xbox.

PS3 is basically a better, more expensive X-Box 360. Unless you REALLY want those X-box exclusives, the PS3 is the clear choice. It offers most, if not all 3rd party games that are not X-Box exclusive, it has plenty of other media features, such as a Blu Ray and DVD player, decent internet browser, and free online, which isn't anywhere near as good the the X-Box, but is free.

There's also a backlog of Playstation games, many of which are great. Also, if you get the right model of PS3, you can play PS2 games, which has arguably THE best collection of games ever.

I would only suggest you get a 360 if you can't afford a PS3 (But then, that would imply you can't afford its online) Two of my friends got 360's while I got a PS3, they both regret their purchases after seeing that they could have had everything they wanted with their 360 but better on the PS3. My more casual friend really liked Little Big Planet, my other friend liked the fact that you could play olf Final Fantasy games, as well as games like inFAMOUS

AND Sony just announced a price drop, effective immediately. That helps too

Just read an article on IGN that a lot of Japanese stores are no longer stocking Xboxes

Hey X-bot,how's it going ? I hear GOW 3 is coming out this fall that's nice,Also 360 in past year as lost alot of exclusives. Both PS3 and 360 are better.Hopefully your trolling. It's also quite odd about Naughty Dog because that Uncharted is most crtical like series they have made,I am happy Naughty Dog moved away from Jak and Daxter i know your xbot so it's difficult to acceptt new and fresh games that arn't downladable and let your develpers try something new.

i have both systems and if ur more of a video grafics person i'd say 360 but if ur more of a free multiplayer person ps3

not really in my opinion xbox has better grafic's, but the down side is that xbox live cost's $50 per year. :(

That's... strange. The PS3 has better technical aspects, AND outputs at a higher resolution.

Granted, the graphical quality is determined by the people that make them, have you compared, say, a PS3 exclusive to an X-Box exclusive? Or are you comparing two games that came out for both systems?

Well the PS3's discs hold a 100 or more gigabytes so that answers who has better technology. Also PS3 has Call of Duty, but those games are pretty much a waste of time now. Also FFXIII only works for a little on the Xbox. Once you reach a certain spot it stops. My friend called Microsoft and guess what they were jerks about it. At least Sony and Nintendos customer support is kind about problems. Now the military bought 300 PS3's to help power a super computer because the PS3 contained something in it (maybe someone can clarify what it is.) did you see them pick xbox. Nope. Now myself I would just wait for the Wii U considering Square has stated that they have great intrest in working with the platform. Not to mention the fact that Nintendo had commented on the Zelda HD thing could only be produced on Wii U. This is because it is 50% more powerful than the PS3 and Xbox.

well if u look at the cod games and nfs games the grafrics look a little better but not by much.

xbox has call of duty and how did the wii u get into this? xD

ps i agree the customer service sucks like shit plus i hate the $50 xbox live thing :D

Well the xbox has more contrast, but the PS3 is sharper. I was saying to wait for it because more people want to work with it.

In all honesty both consoles suck balls, they are nowhere near as great as the pre 2005 consoles. The gaming industry is starting to turn into crap. One half of the games invlove me staring down a gun sight, and the other is a mosh pit of stuff I've seen already, just with better graphics. If you could call the graphics better. The only colors I see in games these days are grey, black, and brown, somtimes you get some blue and green if you are lucky.

Point is, there is nothing original. Most of the market these days come in sequels. Both consoles suck but in my opinion the xbox sucks a little less.

They both suck compared to PC because PC games have more colors than just grey, black, brown, and a bit of orange when there's fires, and they're both going to die within the next 3 years.

I can think of games that made great use of colour

There are original games you just have to look for them. The reason of games sequals is it is risky to put of new ip that knows you've to.I agree would like to see more ip out there. There want more than shooters games out there.I don't get one thing you said there to much sequals but your problem with sony was they were making the sequals ps2 games.

kh started on the playstation and i say it should stay with the playstation besides the odd nintendo game but besides them playstation all the way

Well I think it depends on what type of gamer you are. If your a person who schedules their life around gaming than get a 360,I just got the 4 gig one from that promotion thing and I have to admit that the online(from what I have experienced) is better, the arcade exclusives are very good(does ps3 have any), and the exclusives are good too(so are the ps3's).

But if you schedule gaming around your free time than get a ps3. You don't have to pay for online so it's not like you'd pay for the subscription then end up not using it, it can go cross platform with a game or two(not a huge deal but it's interesting), the exclusives don't really have an age group(they go from kiddie games to mature so you will always have an exclusive focused at your age group).

What I'm trying to say is that if you casually play whether it be online or by yourself I'd say go for the ps3. But if you're looking for competetive online play than go for the 360.

And if your getting a system just for kingdom hearts the ps3 is a good choice.
