Posted August 17, 201114 yr Do you think Kairi is a Keyblade Wielder, or just someone who can use a Keyblade? I think she's just someone who can use a Keyblade, as the rite wasn't properly performed. And that she has to have it handed to her.
August 17, 201114 yr My opinion is that with her heart of pure light she is someone who can use any keyblade from the Realm of Light, perhaps even against the owners will. I'm not sure how much credence I give to the inheritance ceremony, but I do believe if she's in a situation of extreme peril that she would be able to summon a keyblade of her own. Another thought that has come to mind is what if the keyblade belonging to her ended up being opposite her nature? I think that would be intriguing. I noticed in the Re:coded cutscenes that Mickey was using Star Seeker instead of Kingdom Key D. Perhaps the Kingdom Key D left Micky and became Kiari's at the end of KH2 and thus it's absence from Mickey in Re:coded. Please note, just one of my crazy theories.

No, mickey just chose to use Star Seeker agian. He only needed Kingdom Key D for sealing the Door to Darkness. Kairi's is Destiny's Embrace.

Because the Keyblade Ceremony wasn't properly performed. since when was there a ceremony suppose 2 be performed in order for a person to wield a keyblade? p.s. never mind, u answered my question in a earlier post: in BBS, when Terra talks to Riku as far as kairi being able to use the keyblade I think when aqua casted the spell on her not only did it leed her to sora mabe it also had some kind of other side effect in other words mabe ithe spell that aqua cast on her was more then just a protection spell. another possible way 4 kairi being able 2 use the keyblade could also have had to do with the fact that her heart was with sora in KH1 untill he released her heart, & when kairi's heart went back mabe a part of sora went inside with her allowing her to use the keyblade
August 18, 201114 yr I think that she is a keyblade wielder but that because she hasn't been using a keyblade for that long is the reason why she can't fight alongside sora and riku.
August 18, 201114 yr I don't really think that she can use a Keyblade at free will. She most likely needs Riku to summon it for her.

August 18, 201114 yr kairi was there with sora, riku, mickey, donald, and goofy at the door to kingdom hearts. she was locked out with the others. she didnt use it again because she didnt get a chance to.
