So, which game did you prefer? Kingdom Hearts or Kingdom Hearts II?

 

I personally prefer playing the original KH... I find that the script in the second game is of poorer quality and that the storyline was much better in the first KH. For example, in KH2, when you go to a Disney world, the plot of the world is almost identical to the Disney movie. In KH1, however, they incorporated new ideas-- like with Halloween Town, for instance. In KH1 the plot is to do with them creating a Heart and it being stolen by Oogie Boogie (which is original), where in KH2 they simply follow the plot of the movie.

Possibly unbiased of me, but I really can't choose. I love both of them so much. :'D I suppose the camera is easier to control in KHII, and the graphics are sliiightly better, but overall they both have amazing gameplay and stories (KHII may have followed the movies for the worlds, but overall it does have a really indepth story about Nobodies and such, and KH has a really indepth story about the introduction to Kingdom Hearts and hearts).

but we all know the only reason KH2 totally owns the other games is because of Organization 13!!! Don't deny it!!! @.o

I agree totally. I also like KH2 because you get to visit the worlds twice. So you like get two stories for each world. Plus everyone is older so the game's more mature.

I like the second better u get reaction commands new worlds and the guys are alot older that they were in KH. also kairi is hotter XDXD

I like in KH2 how it follows the original movie, cause then when I watch the movie again I think of Sora secretly being in the background and it makes it more enjoyable for me. totally agree with you! org. 13 owns the game. i wish they hadn't "faded away." they were evil, but most of them were so incredibly gorgeous and talented.

I like them both... equally.

I can't exactly explain it very well, but.... :

To me, I like the older characters. But I like the first one and its story. KH2 goes deeper into the story though. I LOVED Neverland and how you could fly!!!! XDDDD However, I LOVED how we had driveforms in kh2. But.... I liked the summoning wayy better in kh1. (I like summoning XDD --- and ...Chicken Little.. just FAIL)

I can go on forever about why I like both games.... D:

That's very hard to choose..but i think i like KHII more..Drives, Reaction Commands, easier camera control and seems like Sora is a lot more cheerful in KHII.

Not to mention the Organization XIII,each with different attitudes and style..it really makes the game more interesting.(if only they lived..not all of them are evil~~)

Kingdom Hearts I was infinitely more original. I really like Roxas&Namine, but they just put so much crap into KH2. Like how Kairi does the "jump off a cliff" scene, and Mickey says, "Darkness is half of everything." Well, what about the hearts of the Seven Princesses? Hmmmm? I thought so. Please never say anything that is so utterly contradictory of one of the main plot points... And a lot of the dialogue was pretty idiotic (compared to KH1). But I'm just neurotic that way, so don't mind me...

I like more Kingdom Hearts II than KH. IT's more using anthoer character and the graphics are better.

Reaction commands as stated before, keyblades, using Roxas (awsome).

But seriously. Kingdom Hearts 2 was just so short, and so easy.

Sure there were SOME battles which baffled my brain, but in KH there were so many things that you had to think of.

The worlds in KH2 were just ridiculous, seriously. Port Royal? No offence. Sure the graphics were sweet, but the storyline needed some work. Atlantica, wheres the fighting? Sure, lets sing a song! This will wipe evil Ursula!

KH bosses were ultimate. It took me quite a while to finish the damn game. KH2, a few days at first. Hmph.

I wouldn't say all of the organization is evil. They do tend to use the power of darkness, but so does Riku. Also, Axel sacrificed himself 4 sora/roxas. I can't really say too much about the others because I don't know very much about them.

To me, it was more exciting, and kept you on the edge of your seat, wanting to play more and more like an intense thriller.

I liked KHII better.

 

One word, one number: Organization XIII.
