tutti frutti. Before anyone starts throwing comments at me for this, I just want to point out that I have nothing against Sora's hair. But this is just something in general that's kind of bugged me from the new KH3D trailer. From KH1 to KH2 Sora, Riku and Kairi all receive new clothes. And in KH3D Sora and Riku received even newer clothes. Though over the series Sora is the only character among the three whose hair doesn't change a bit. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, or that Sora should shave is hair bald or anything like. My quesiton is this, do you think that Sora should have a new hairstyle for future KH games starting with KH3D and for future games after it?

this is untrue, it was and is longer in KHII but in 3D it has reverted to his KH1 hair, its been stated by nomura that there is a signifigant reason for this, we can only wait to find out what that is though.

As TerraRedeemed said, in KH2 it was a little longer, though not that noticeable. Personally, I like his hair how it is. It wouldn't be the same if they changed it. His hair is as iconic as Cloud's. I still find the scene where they first meet Tifa funny.

not really much you can do to change a hairstyle like that. i do admit they probably could try to do something different with Sora's hair, i don't know what you could do with it though.

While I do like Sora's hair the way it is, I think it is a reminder that Sora is still a kid. I think as he gets older his hairstyle should mature as well. Not necessarily lose the spikey Square goodness of it, but a more mature shift, like the difference between Cloud in FFVII and Cloud in Advent Children. Still spikey, and still recognisable without a shadow of a doubt that it is cloud, but not unrealistic.

Everybody is leaving out a more significant change in Sora's fair for KH2.

It's much brighter.

In one of the early KH3D interviews I believe. But the reason it looks like KH1 hair is because during the MoM exam in the Dream World, he looks like his younger self, that is the reason why. If you see the trailer, you'll see that before they go into the Dream World, Sora and Riku are their KH2 selves, though Riku got his hair cut. Sora's hair is his KH2 hair until they go into the Dream World.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who noticed Sora's hair is lighter colored..... and less detailed in KH2(which would be more detailed in KH2 FM lol)

If you changed Sora's hair, he wouldn't be Sora anymore. The hair is just one of the significant things that makes Sora who he is.

thats purely a frontal image, in the back its spikier.

The darkness of the heir changes and it gets more spikier in KH2 so you are wrong.

I like Sora's hair. It's fine just the way it is.
