Honestly, how long are they going to keep up this series?

Posted

I can't see the series continuing after Kingdom Hearts III. 1. Because Disney hates it. 2. Becasue I don't know what the story will be about. I mean really guys you think they can just make KH game after KH game and have Sora fight Jafar in Agrabah every game? And there aren't any new worlds for them to use. It's been 6 years since the last numbered title was released. Square hasn't even finished 1/10 of the game yet unless they've been hiding it's production from us.

Well give me you're opinion, how long do you think this series will last? It's not getting a lot of support from Disney and no Disney = No Kingdom Hearts.

Anyway, the series will last as long as Nomura can come up with a story.

Birth by Sleep is a 'numbered title'. It is Kingdom Hears 0.

well first Disney still got other worlds such as toy story so new worlds can be added like in dream drop distance. secondly the ending of kingdom hearts 3 is just the end of the xehanort saga and will introduce the new one as Nomura said. thirdly we all know it will be around sora as Nomura also said Kingdom Hearts is around sora and without him its no Kingdom Hearts.

It's not that Disney hates it, it just got a bit too dark for their tastes. Also I think KH will still maintain the rights for Disney worlds/characters.

And the last numbered title was Birth By Sleep not KH II.

Also they didn't even started producing KH III. Everyone knows that the KH-Team is currently workin on FFvsXIII and that won't be the case in following main KH-titles.

Plus there are SOOOO many worlds that KH didn't used. Combined with the self-created worlds from SE there will be enough unused worlds for many KH games.

And just because YOU don't know what the story won't be about doesn't mean Nomura doesn't know either.

In fact he thought about another saga after the Xehanort saga after making KH I.

So there you have it.

and who say's he HAVE to use Disney worlds

i mean a game about beeing in the destiny islands world

like going around on the mainislands and stuff exploring the whole FIRST world

I would be EXTREMELY disappointed if there wouldn't be disney worlds. Visiting different (Disney) worlds and having a different adventure in each one with familiar characters is one of KH's most important features.

GOD DAMN IT!!! Aren't you a fan? Fans are supposed to want their favorite game to go on forever! At least I as a fan think like that.

they could always add pixar movies...theyre apart of disney...whole new batch of worlds right there...i figure they would do that for the next saga

Disney does not hate KH. Sure, they may not love it but they definitely don't HATE it. If they truly did hate it, they wouldn't put their name on it-- regardless of the money it makes.

Anyways, I don't see why future games would need Disney worlds. But yeah, you may not know how the story will continue, but that's why you're playing the games and not creating them.

Most people don't consider BBS to be a 'Numbered Title'.

@ Rob Kingdom Hearts II came out in 2005.

Fool. Actually, most people DO consider it a numbered title. You're the odd one out.

tutti frutti. I seriously don't think that that Disney HATES the KH series, I made a thread about this topic some time ago. (I'll have to look for it later) If Disney did hate the series, they would have pulled away from the series already. Besides I remember from someone posting the interview of Nomura about how BBS was on par to a numbered KH games, such as KH1 and KH2. Like myself, I'm sure others consider BBS a numbered KH game as well. Plus I highly doubt that Nomura would run out of a decent if not great story for the series. Especially if he can generate great stories for the Final Fantasy series, particularly since each number has their own unique story to them.

Everybody who knows a little about Kingdom Hearts would consider it a numbered title.

And even if everybody besides Nomura would say it is not a numbered title. That wouldn't make it the truth.

No, last time I checked Square Enix and Tetsuya Nomura never confirmed Kingdom Hearts III as a title or let alone say how much of it is finished so you're wrong. ~Nan nan.

Oh wait I ment 3D,still he said that there'd be a new saga after this, so there will be a 3.

Most people? Nomura himself said that BBS is KH0. It doesn't matter what "most people" think.

From what I remember, the last numbered title game came out last year and was rereleased as a "Final Mix" this year.

Oh wait I ment 3D,still he said that there'd be a new saga after this, so there will be a 3.

3 will still be about the xehanort saga. genius.

That my point. How did you not get that?

*sigh* here we go again with the whole "Disney hates KH"-drama... If you don't want it to continue after 3, stop playing it. Life really is that simple.

"There will be a new saga after this (3D) so there will be a 3(implying that 3 is a part of the next saga)."
