There is a Senator that plans on filibustering the SOPA and PIPA bills. Senator Wyden from Oregon is going to read off every name of every single person who opposed the bills on the Senate floor which could take hours to do. The big issue is that they're capable of shutting down methods of payment to the website.

The internet is terrible for capitalism. Suddenly people can easily access many products for free, get entertainment for free that is arguably superior to what you'll find anywhere else.

 

The Internet also does a lot for capitalism, though. I mean, look at Facebook. It's created by an American, and worth like $70 billion. Think of how much tax they must get from that..

i think that they're doing cuz of the bullies on facebook and stuff. why dont they just put stricter laws on cyberbullying instead of this stupid law. im mildly concearned that this might happen. we have the right to poretest, ad tell the government if they're go all bat sh*t crazy on us. so if all these people complain, the government cant do crap. plus, the internet makes us happy. as people of this earth, we have the right to pursue happiness, the right the goverment cant take away unless your being put to death. so i dont think they can. but i do think they should censor porn, cuz my 7 year old cuz got onto a porn site long story.

And Lady Gaga is working on getting a law due to her fan Jamey committing suicide due to all sorts of bullying, at school and online. So, yes there's already efforts to make bullying illegal.
