If sora does get ventus's heart back to him do you think roxas will be reborn? Also since the two would no longer be connected, do you think he'd look more like a different version of sora rather than ventus?

Since Sora is giving Ven's heart back, and not losing it or his own, Roxas won't be reborn. Sora would need to lose his heart and become a Heartless again for that to happen. However, if that does happen, Roxas would be a true Nobody and have no emotions and would look more like Sora. He wouldn't be the Roxas we knew in KH2 and Days, he'd be a completely different Nobody.

I've always thought that the two would be reborn as one person and that he might need to reconcile the separate lives and memories. If "inheritance" is even possible, that is.

I kind of agree with Spectrum of Life. As far as I understand it, Roxas had Ventus's broken heart. If Ventus ever got his heart back from Sora, wouldn't he also get Roxas? Roxas was basically Ventus, but missing his memories. I believe that when Ventus wakes up he will be himself, but also have Roxas's memories as a continuation of his own. The only thing I can find wrong with this theory is that it would put some severe emotional/relationship strain between Sora and Kairi, seeing as how her nobody Namine wants to be with Roxas, and therefore Ventus.

 

Unless of course, they keep Roxas as a small part of Sora and just give Ventus his heart back, no strings attached.

I'm kind of with other people about the memories thing. It would make sense that Roxas' chain of memories would be connected with Ventus' heart. Whether Ven will think of those memories as his from a time he was a nobody or the memories of a nobody his heart was in I don't know. And I think that difference could make a drastic change in his characterization.

tutti frutti. I kind of think that the "essence," if you will, of Ven's heart will still be within Sora. And assuming that Roxas does in fact come back, I'm more so leaning torwards him retaining the appearance that we all know him as. But if by some chance Roxas doesn't retain his appearance as Ven, then there could be the chance that Roxas's appearance will change to be more like Sora, but will little, if any change in appearance. (though in this case, I could more so see Vanitas taking over in appearance) Roxas's personality may not change that much if Ven's heart goes back to his body once it is repaired.
