At the Edge of Madness-"Cosmos....Why do You Refuse to Seek Eternity with Me?" Said Chaos, While Pondering his Thoughts to Himself Ontop of his Throne.

 

(This is the 8th Cycle of Battle.)

Kain exhaled sharply, rolling over in an almost jerking motion. His hands found water, the liquid running off of his armor. He managed to pull himself up, faltering slightly as he looked around. "This is... Sanctuary. Then..."

 

The dragoon turned to the throne behind him. Cosmos sat before him (OOC: If we have controlled Chaos, do we need controlled Cosmos?), her golden hair draped down her shining figure. As expected. If this was Sanctuary, then this was another war. Yet another war...

 

"Kain." The man caught his breath, unprepared for her words. "I fear that this time... I may not survive this conflict." Kain approached Cosmos, kneeling as she spoke.

 

"Cosmos." His voice sounded raspy, but maybe it was just his imagination. "I swear that no harm will come to you. I will see this Cycle ended swiftly and decisively." The goddess kept her gaze on her warrior, his eyes still to the ripples below. He reminded her of another warrior...

 

"Please, Kain. Find the other warriors. I fear they may not arrive here as you have. I do not wish to see any harm come to them."

 

"Nor do I, your Grace." Kain rose, his lance appearing in a flash of light. "I will find my comrades, and we will prepare for Chaos' forces."

 

Cosmos only nodded, closing her eyes as if in deep thought.
