Seriously? I thought this game was supposed to fix everything that was wrong with XIII?

 

This game is getting worse reviews than XIII did!

The answer is simple: everyone who buys this wants to see her die. I think killing off a main character is a brilliant idea myself.

My answer is it's journey to get to the ending but I'm not buying the game.

Because XIII-2 is the first "real" FF game (not including dissidia and spin-offs) where you can actually jump! That's all I was doing in the demo. Jump, jump, jump!

Why are people, and myself, getting Final Fantasy XIII-2 if the main character of the game, Serah, dies at the end of the game? I mean I am paying $80 dollors to watch the main character of the game die in the end.

 

Just like how people bought Halo Reach even though they already knew Reach would fall...

 

Just like how people watch countless WW2 films knowing the Germans will lose...

 

Or just like how people read Romeo and Juliet knowing the two commit suicide at the end.

And Lightning is recruitable!!! I'm going to go do this battle and die horrifically being underleveled, I know it. But Lightning is worth it!

So there will be two Lightning in the game?

The only DLC of Lightning I will be buying is when they release her episode DLC. One that actually contributes to the plot... instead of a random robot Lightning clone that just creates more plot contradictions. Plus I want to control Lightning, not have the AI do it .

Although I wish that the DLC gave you the ability to get the "actual" Lightning in your party for control and customization, I'm glad to get any version at all. I wonder what their Feral Links would be, and if other characters from XIII will come on as DLC to join your party. That could be pretty cool.
