Talent Contest

 

Welcome to the KH13 Talent Contest. Here you will have the chance to show your talents. There are three talent categories. The Drawing Category, The Video Category ,The Writing Category and The Music category.

 

 

Drawing Category- Image editing: At the drawing category you can make a fan made drawing Kingdom hearts related or otherwise and whatever else your heart desires. You can also make an image.

 

Video Category- At the Video category you can make a fan made video Kingdom hearts related or otherwise. Make sure to add a catchy music and put high quality scenes. You can give us an old video or a new one.

 

 

Writing Category- The writing category. You can write stories, poems and songs.

 

 

 

Music Category- Remixes, Compositions, arrangements. You can also sing covers of Song and Kh intros

 

 

 

Post the stories…

 

Writing Category- If you want to write a story a song or a poem you can write it with starting a new topic, giving a title and write it. Then post us the link of the story so we can rate it.

 

Video Category- You can post it here or make a topic and send it to us so we can rate the video.

 

Drawing Category- If you have Deviant art or another site where you can post drawings you can upload them there and give us the link. Or you can always post the drawing here.

 

Music Category- Make the music and post it here or upload it on youtube and send us the link.

 

 

Rules

 

 

Just some simple rules you have to follow:

• No bad words in the stories, in the poems or in the songs
• No pervert drawings
• The Video, the Story- Poem- Song or the Drawing has to be yours.
• You must post your work in time.

 

You will have 4 weeks to finish your artwork starting by now. The contestants that chose video category will post first. When the time limit finishes (that will be 5 days) the drawing category will post its artwork and then and then the writing category will post the links of the topics they have made. And finally the music category last.

For every category there will two Judges:

*Blank* positions mean that you can PM me and sign up if you want to be a Judge. But when you become a Judge you will have to be impartial.

So, just a suggestion. TBH, out of all of those, it'll probably take the longest for the writing contestants to finish. The writing contestants should have a farther away due date, especially since you gave us the option of writing a full story, which I've begun but will take time.

 

Well i can give you some extra time. Thats okay. But! Remember. If we like the Plot of the story then it will have chances of winning

Here is rules for music section. Please read properly if you're in the music section!

 

1. You can play with any instrument and you can also sing.

2. If you're making arrange or remix then tell name of orginal version too. Tell also if you're playing/ singing your own song.

3.Tell which program you're using to record and which rograms you're using to remix your song.

4. Give clear information of instruments you're using.

5. I'm gonna select winner from playing skills, how good your sound is and how good you're at mixing.

6. I'm gonna tell just winner not order which you are, to not making anybody angry me.

After your dates the videos would've had been posted already and the drawings would be posted from 15th-20th.

I think the first one applying for the role as judge in a certain category who is also mentally capable of executing that task without being partial will be selected.

So a random guy who knows nothing about the categories that they are judging can just sign up?

 

What makes these judges qualified? How is one person qualified to be one of the judges in all four categories? There is an even number of judges, what happens if there is a tie?

 

If you can just PM a guy to become a judge then whats the point of having judges? The judge is supposed to have a considerable amount of knowledge for what they are judging, preferably mastery of what they are judging. If judges are just picked by "first come- first serve" then why not just let the people vote on who is who?

 

To me, this talent show doesn't seem to be planned well enough.

Of course I don't but let's assume that all the current judges have no idea about the material... what are we going to do against it ?... It is not like people who really know their stuff applied for the role as a judge. So as long as no one who is educated in the category volunteers as a judge there is nothing else we can do.

For one it is just a talent show without any prizes and is just for the fun of it so it doesnt matter. Two Lu Xun is one of the best writters I know on this forum so he is mor than qualified for his spot as an judge, and even if they arent qualified they are smart enough to tell a good picture or video from a bad one if you want a professional you go find one yourself. And three I dont even see you signed up for anything in this contest so I dont see why you got to come and complain on something youre not even involved with.

people at young and old ages will never know the 'true' way of art because there is no such thing

art is up to the interpreter

and if the judges don't know anything about art, there's no valid reason as to why they're judges

it's like putting a 12 year old kid to judge on american idol
