Nah, some things need a lot more explanation than a status update. And there's no way I would make a whole thread devoted to some of my status updates.

But you can't fit a autobiography in a status update

My departure'll be a thread and everyone had better firetrucking read it.

 

I guess some people are just too lazy to make a thread, or they just don't have a lot to say about the topic.

My departure is going to be awesome.

You'll all see why.

 

And they probably want to be secretive about it, so about 85% of the site is like, where the firetruck did that guy go?

I only use Status Updates for fun, not for personal issues.
