Part I

Apprentice drummed her fingers on the wall, brows knitted with a hand pressed to her temple. The staccato pattern her fingernails created did not help the increasing annoyance that weighed on her mind. She had forgotten something, and obviously she didn't know what. She pictured how much of an idiot she must looked, standing awkwardly in the hallway. Maybe if she retraced her steps and thought for a moment what she had been planning before she suddenly forgot.

Shaking her head, Apprentice stood up straight and walked forward. She played various scenarios through her mind. First, I was thinking eating frosted flakes for breakfast and then I had planned on going on the computer. That's when the various grey, white and blue colours invaded her mind.

"Ohhhhh," she said aloud, slapping the side of her head."That's what I was going to do. I was going to go on KH13. Stupid me."

Treading a restless hand through her auburn hair, Apprentice made her way up the staircase. The rest of her family had gone out shopping today and she was alone at home with the dog and cats.

Approaching her iMac, she seated herself comfortably. At first, Apprentice had stumbled upon the site looking for various Kingdom Hearts cutscenes via Google and YouTube. When she returned to the site, she started stalking it for a for a month or so when Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Re:coded had been released. It was until after KH3D had been announced that she finally decided to sign up on the site using the pseudonym TheApprenticeofKingMickey.

It was really strange, the feelings she felt for invisible people. At first, she was initially suspicious of anyone who talked to her, believing them perverts or rapists. As time went, the members of KH13 grew on her and came to regard the majority of the site as good friends. Course, if her parents knew this they'd be telling her, "Y'know, you're befriending pedophiles, right?"

Apprentice briefly smirked as she opened Safari. Maybe she'd ought to tell them that. gaiz mommy and daddy thinks ur all pedos!

From what Apprentice had learned , KH13 consisted of five groups. The Kings (Aaron and DChiuch), the moderators, the well-known members, the lesser-known members and the bots. Apprentice had a hard time distinguishing whether she belonged in the well known or lesser known groups. The hierarchy of KH13 was a tough egg to crack. Basically if the mods disapproved of you or dislike you, your life on KH13 never truly existed in the first place.

After Apprentice had finished browsing through YouTube and allkpop, she finally clicked on KH13. Browsing through the notifications on KH13 was one of the times during the day that Apprentice looked forward to the most. Which is pretty pathetic now that you think about it.

What caught Apprentice's eye was the strange window flashing at the corner of the screen. She removed her purple and blue spectacles, cleaned them, rubbed her eyelids before depositing them back on the bridge of nose.

The window was small, flashing with all the signature colours and symbols of the Kingdom Hearts series. In the series' signature font there was were two words. 'The Keyhole' it said. Below the words was the recognizable Keyhole of Light, its light shining more brightly than the midday sun itself. She was right. What she saw wasn't a dream. She had clicked on this window before and it had taken her on a magical route.

Apprentice moved the cursor, then hesitated. Stop it, she thought. This is DChiuch, you idiot. You can trust him. Swallowing audibly, Apprentice clicked on the Keyhole. A silvery white light came pouring out of the Keyhole, lathering the walls and furniture of the computer room. It grabbed hold of Apprentice, its touch almost frothy and warm. It coaxed Apprentice to feel no fear. Finally yielding, she let herself plunge into a world of magic and danger.

Part VII

A bead of sweat slipped from Apprentice's forehead. This was ridiculous. She transformed the world more than once, molded a chunk of rock into Vic Mignogna and yet as she struggled to morph the canyon of cobalt rock surrounding them, she couldn't transform it into a simple forest? firetruck this, she decided. When the more well-known members and the main teams of the site had gathered (by then Lu Xun and Sora96 had introduced her plan to DChiuch) they discovered the wall had been her power supplier and now that it had shredded it to nothingness, she had nothing but her potential to guide her as she tried build up her strength. And it frustrated Apprentice to no end.

"firetruck THIS ABILITY OR SHOULD I SAY DISABILITY BECAUSE YOU ARE AS USEFUL AS SHIT!" she punched the stone surrounding her, staining her pearly hands with red.

"What are you thinking about when try to activate your power?" 

Apprentice jumped and turned to find Number XV, dressed in those recognizable Akatsuki robes and watching her with the crimson eyes bearing the mark of the Sharingan. Apprentice recoiled instinctively. XV's face remained stoic. "Sorry," she ran a hand through her midnight hair. "The last time I read Naruto, I hadn't reached the part where Itachi was revealed not to be as bad he seemed so I guess seeing him as untrustworthy has kind of ingrained itself in me."

XV looked at her for a long moment, not speaking.

Apprentice held both arms behind her back, and she poked the hard rock with her bare toe. The awkwardness was palpable. "Um, why are you here XV? Shouldn't you be practicing?"

 XV gazed at her intently as only Itachi could. "Fortunately for me, I've mastered my powers."

At this remark, a large crack blemished the wall of cobalt rock behind Apprentice.

"See?" said XV calmly, he said walking toward her. Apprentice moved out of the way. "Your emotions control your power. When you try to develop or create something, you already give up before you try. It's a paradox."

Apprentice finally let her frustration show and threw her hands up in the air. "Okay then, what do I do?"

"What were you planning to morph the canyon into before you had a tantrum?"

"A forest," answered Apprentice immediately.

XV placed a hand on the crack Apprentice created. He then looked at her again for another long moment. Apprentice had a feeling of what he was going to do. "You're going to copy my ability, aren't you?"

His gaze as always, was intent, absorbing everything around him. "Where did you get that idea?"

"Dude, please."

"Very well." His eyes were unblinking, the Sharingan as noticeable as neon colours on highways. It was strange to watch. The tomoe seals in XV's eyes were lithe as they transformed, the comma-like shapes spiking fluidly into a pinwheel. Mangekyo Sharingan, thought Apprentice with astonishment. Is my ability that powerful, to the point he has to resort to that? It was as if those blood red irises stared into her soul. She felt as if something was threading through the very core of her, borrowing the essence of her ability. If XV probed any further, he would have had to rip her apart to duplicate her ability. Apprentice had never felt more fear or fascination during her entire existence. Sweeping through the canyon was a wind like no other. Planting seedlings, the wind fed them energy and roots sprouted from the nearly impenetrable rock. The earth underneath them softened, luscious with health and vitality. Apprentice felt lush green grass tickling the soles of her feet and she threaded it with her toes. She gawked at the scenery around her. The fluid changeover the world around her underwent was nothing like the choppy transformation sequences that Apprentice had made. It was breathtaking and she was in shock.

"H-How-?"

XV looked at her squarely, the forest of wonder surrounding them dissolving into the Great Maw of Radiant Garden once more. "Serenity, concentration, piece of mind, focus."

Apprentice gave a look a look that said, 'Are you firetrucking kidding me?' "ADHD, remember?" she pointed to herself.

"Even with your disability, there are strategies to cope with lack of concentration. If you really wanted to, you could apply yourself to the task." The both of them stood a few meters apart from each other. A strange awkwardness saturated the air.

Apprentice crossed her arms. "I'm not an idiot. I know this. I apply myself as best as I can. But what you're asking for is impossible. Even with strategies, not just me but anyone with ADHD can never fully commit to concentrating completely-" She stopped to ponder, rethinking that sentence. A frown creased her face. "Never mind. There is a way. A way that intercedes the inability to concentrate."

XV's eyes were still on her face, staring intently, paying attention to detail as Itachi Uchiha would. "And that is?"

"Obsession or rather an intense fascination. A symptom only individuals with autism or Asperger Syndrome seem to have." She moved to the side, changing her position to lean against the bulwark of stone.

Seeming satisfied with her answer, XV spoke again. "There is a technique that the Sharingan provides that allows the user to torture a victim with illusions for what seems like days only in a matter of seconds."

Apprentice pressed herself flat against the wall, the urge to flee potent.

"Relax," XV said, putting a hand up placatingly. "I can manipulate the ability so I can give you serenity and peace of mind should problems with your concentration arise."

"You would do that? For me?" Apprentice stared at him in wonder before becoming immediately suspicious. "Why?"

XV smiled eerily for the first time. "I find your power interesting."

Shana stared down at Naminé's hands twiddling nervously in her lap. She was biting down on her lip nervously, looking up once or twice every five seconds  in the direction Apprentice had gone. What went on in Apprentice's head was beyond her. One moment she was having a nice friendly chat with you and the next moment she off bitching or coming up with some weird plan. After DChiuch had addressed all the members with the idea Apprentice had thought up, she just lost track of what going on.

"She's going to be fine." Shana raised her blonde head to find herself looking in Roxas' blue eyes.

"Golden," she said with a sigh of relief.

"Can I sit?" He smiled down at her, ruffling his gold hair and Shana immediately felt a strange warm feeling flutter across her chest. What. The. firetruck. she thought to herself. Golden was expectantly waiting for her answer, his brows drawn together at the lack of an answer. Flushing at her error, Shana said in a high-pitched voice, "Yeah, sure!"

Sitting down on the deep blue rock, Golden settled himself comfortably and even if Shana was unaware, his attention was completely on her.

"You guessed I was worried about Apprentice, weren't you?" Shana had returned to twiddling her fingers anxiously again, tilting her head aside to brush blonde bangs out of her face.

"It's kinda obvious," Golden gave her a sidelong glance, his eyes rapt with attention.

"Well, DChiuch said that she was playing the next big part in this battle move and y'know she's not good at her power and-"

Golden interrupted her by putting a hand on her shoulder. "She'll be fine, Shana. Apprentice is stubborn. We all know this. She'll find a way to master her power, I'm sure of it."

Something in this moment caught their attention, Shana had the sudden urge to draw closer. She hadn't even realized she had until she barely a few centimeters away from Golden's face. His eyes are gorgeous. I've never seen eyes so blue.

"Well, this is going somewhere interesting," said a female voice with a potent Australian accent. Golden and Shana jumped apart, their faces like red beacons. Miranda Kerr stood behind them, bikini-clad and wearing a large white beach hat.

"Who're you supposed to be?"

She made a face. "Lexi."

Not familiar with the nickname, the both of hem stared at her blankly. She sighed with annoyance. "Think Pink."

Shana's mouth formed a perfect 'o'. She remembered now. Think Pink was the girl with inexplicable ninja skills pummeling everyone on the practice field.

"You just had to leave me succumbing to my injuries, didn't you, Lexi?"

A mess of black and orange, Naruto Uzumaki made himself present, rubbing an arm lined with indigo spots. He sported a black eye and a bruised jaw.

Golden's jaw dropped. "Grimmjow?"

He smirked sardonically, his mannerisms so unlike the avatar he was representing. "Lexi is a fierce opponent. I suggest neither of you challenge her."

"Duly noted," said a voice behind them.

There stood Apprentice, a hand resting on her hip and her head cocked to the side. Grinning cheekily, she anniunced triumphantly, "I DID IT, BITCHES!"

An amused smile crossed Lexi's face and Grimmjow raised an eyebrow.

A pleased look formed on Shana's face. "You mastered it?" 

Golden looked impressed.

"Hell, yes. Didn't you notice?"

Now that the two of them stopped being so absorbed in each other, Shana and Golden finally took notice to their surroundings. Apprentice couldn't be more pleased with herself. With XV's help, she finally got hold of her ability in a few hours and recreated the forest he himself had made with the use of his Sharingan. If it was possible, the greenery was even more vibrant, the world more lively because she had created it without the use of copying and because the transformation process was more fluid and less choppy.

Lexi and Grimmjow went to join the group of the main teams and well-known members, Apprentice took this opportunity to snare both Shana and Golden's necks with her arms.

"Whoa, tackle us much?" Golden gulped for the air Apprentice had stolen from his lungs.

"So what do you think?" she asked them, anticipating their answers. Her face beamed with pride.

Despite the lack of space, Shana managed to move her head a little bit to get a good look at the forest around them. "It's beautiful. Like a place out of a fairy tale."

"That's what I was thinking but rather than a fairy tale I was thinking of a love story." Apprentice gazed off into the distance, her mind clearly visiting another world that beyond anyone's sights but her own.

Something in Apprentice's sentences must've set Shana and Golden off, for blood stained their cheeks, both of their eyes were downcast and their heads pointedly turned away from each other. Apprentice looked to the both of them, confused. "Did I miss something?"

"N-Nothing important," Shana stuttered. "Look Apprentice, they want to talk to you." Apprentice extracted her arms from the snake-like grip they had around her two friends' necks. Shana pointed to a cluster of large trees, where all of the teams, the Kings and the well-known looked at her expectantly, Ivan gesturing urgently for her to come. Lu Xun smiled gently and waved. Apprentice blinked, surprised and slightly pink in the face. She waved back, confused. She studied the gathering of members, finally comprehending. So that's why. The plan is finally going into motion.

Anticipation built in her stomach as she walked over to join them. Slowly, an excited grin fought its way onto her face. This is going to be epic.
