Yea... This may be a dumb post but... in all the gameplay i'v seen there hasn't been a single different keyblade besides the original ones Sora and Riku own! So, here's my question:

Will There Be Other Keyblades?

Sorry for the dumb Question!

There will most likely be other Keyblades which you can use in the game. They don't usually show of any new Keyblades in the trailers.

There actually has been one! If u watch the jump festa trailer during one of the "dive" sequences u can see sora with a different keyblade :D

There will be new keyblades, but here's the thing, Riku doesn't seem to have other keyblades to use. So I guess for him its going to be different?

I am thinking more like an upgrade of the Way to the Dawn keyblade. I wish Riku can weild other keyblade as well, but I doubt that. One could hope. ^^

Why wouldn't Riku be able to wield other Keyblades? We've seen Sora, Roxas, Terra, Aqua and Ventus wield other Keyblades. Why not Riku as well? We'll probably get to see Riku wield new Keyblades too.

I'm sure he will get new keychains to equip. It's the first time we've played as Riku that he has a keyblade, so it makes sense for him to have more keychains like Sora.

This would surprise me if it happens because this will be the first time Riku will weild a keyblade other than the Way to the Dawn. Remember in Re:chain of memories, all of his cards are Soul Eaters.

Also, Nomura did say about the difference between Riku and Sora's gameplay much like Re:chain of memories.

This would be the first Riku would have the opportunity to change Keyblades. I'm guessing the reason why Riku only had Soul Eater cards in Re:Com was because he hadn't had any different weapons before. Therefore he didn't get any cards symbolizing them. Sora on the other side had already wielded several different Keyblades in KH1 which reappeared in Re:Com. I know in Re:Com you can also get KH2 Keyblade cards but that was just some extra threw in for the remake. They could have thrown in some different attack cards for Riku as well but I'm assuming they wouldn't introduce any new Riku weapons through a card.

That could be it but I'm doubting on it. Would be sad. I want to see Riku with different Keyblades.

Of course there will be different keyblades, there are in every game.

Yes but technically Soul Eater isn't a keyblad, so why would Riku get new keychains in CoM when he didn't even have a Keyblade?

Well, I think I actually saw one of Sora's new Keyblades during the trailer... I think it was when he was in Tron's World sliding.... I could be wrong though! = D

I think there will be new keyblades too. Because it would be sooooo cool to see Sora and Riku get a themed keyblade of the other, and then a combined one of the two!

If you all remember, in 358 if you equipped the Zero Gear on Riku you would get Way to the Dawn instead of Soul Eater++++ as I was expecting. However I think that his keyblades will still be more darkness oriented. If you say beat the The Hunchback of Notre Dame world, Sora would get a keyblade of Quasimodo's happiest memeories, and Riku would get one of his darkest memories. I'd go into more detail but I can't remember the movie.

tutti frutti. In KHDays I remember Riku wielding Oblivion during his fight with Roxas even though it wasn't his default Keyblade. I would think that he would be given different Keyblades like Sora and the others to fit the them of the world, and extra content, in the game. Plus I would think that it would be pretty dull for him to be forced to use only his default Keyblade throught the entire course of the game.
