Pokemon Black and White 2...seriously?!

Posted

So, it has just been announced that Black and White will have a sequel game and will star the pokemon Kyurem, as people very much expected and some anticipated.

However, instead of the usual format that the games usually take, with a third game with combines the two best parts of the the previous two, both Black and White are being remade. Kyurem will be shown to have two forms. One for Black and one for White.

What does this mean? It means that Nintendo is offically announcing to the world that they're whoring themselves out for yet more money. Instead of doing something useful with their time and remaking pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, they're remaking Black and White, the last pokemon games to be released for the DS. And of course, there's a movie to go with it! Seriously, creators of pokemon, you must have billions by now, stop trying to get more money and do what people actually want you to do, except for the little kids who didn't live in the time when pokemon was actually good!

  • Even if it IS a remake, it doesn't matter. It's like Platinum. That was a remake of Diamond and Pearl, but was so much better. Did you complain about that game too? Besides, I'M looking forward to s

I was playing N64 at my cousin's house today, and now I realize what I really want for a new Pokemon game.

A Pokemon stadium sequel!!!!!!!!

If Nintendo follows tradition, this means RSE remakes next year and Gen VI in 2014-15.

I think that discounts the idea that this game will take place in Hoenn.

Pokemon is Pokemon. Either way, it's fans will love it, like it or not.

Pokemon is Pokemon. Either way, it's SUPERMASSIVE ULTRA-AWESOME DEDICATED GENIUS OF A fan BASE will love it, like it or not.

I think not using the pattern of a deluxe version was cool.... but I didn't like Black and White anyway... so pass

tutti frutti. Either way the 3DS is backwards compatible, so for those that have a 3DS and are getting the sequel to Black/White have nothing to worry about. Storywise, I thought Black/White were pretty good. The story had more depth on it over just beating whoever the team enemy was, and went so far as to include some more major characters, instead of just the professor, rival and Team(whoever at the time).

One of the things that I have been hoping to get is that the developers would put all of the regions from all 5 generations into one game and allowing us to choose which region we would like to start from. If they can do this with the remakes of Gold/Silver, while still retaining two regions in one game, why not attempt all 5 in one game?

I think people complaining about this not being on 3Ds is because Black and White introduced 3D and we have even have 3D technology available

Because of the massive amounts of development time and effort that would take.

I dunno why people are being so negative about Black and White 2, they're doing something new, and a whole lot better than just a third version with a little bit more of content and a couple of story modifications, they're making completely new games with completely new plots, the only similar thing will probably be the region and Pokemon, it gives you more bang for your buck. And the DS platform choice is a good one, they're not alienating all the DS users, while 3DS users can still play and enjoy the games on it anyway because it's backwards compatible.

I'd imagine it would take out a fair amount of space out of the cartridge aswell.
