I was once a MMO botter I've got ban several times but I always ended up getting it back, but those years are gone.

No one can ban Rob.

Ive never been banned, but whether other people have been banned because of me is open for debate.

I was banned for awhile for being AFK while I went to the bathroom, I was only gone for 5 minutes. A little stupid don't ya think?

i was playing a match of tron on my ps3 and i had just finish the match very good then while waiting i got a message i was ban from the room D;

I was muted on Pokemon Online for a day. It was the time of the "Rapture" and people were "freaking out."

 

I (unluckly) posted one joke and got muted, while all the others were fine. Just my luck.

......I never play online....unless u count the sims. >>

I was kicked for a week for swearing (coz apparently you can't say "Damn it to hell" to friends in the game)

But I did get a message on KH13 saying my warning level had been increased since I was "junior modding"

Once I nearly got what would have been only a temporary ban at a site just for posting some helpful information about how the game worked. Which Pokemon is that egg going to hatch into? Well the source code tells you exactly what the name of the egg's image is, which is a number of the Pokemon it's hatching into - duh. But I got a warning for posting something that obvious and had to remove it. It's not really cheating if anyone who can read can right click and view the page's source code. =/ But whatever.

 

And once on an online game my account got frozen for who knows what, but I was hacked, and after only a day of talking to a GM everything was fixed and all my stolen stuff was recovered. Yay. =3

 

That's not saying I don't actually cheat/exploit the system on some online games. Oh, I do, on occasion. But cheating takes the fun out of games where you're supposed to 'earn' something so I usually opt not to even if I know it's possible. It's not always safe, either. If I want to keep playing a game and enjoying new content then I can't just go out and do something I might get caught doing. The smart thing to do would be to report a flaw in the design, not abuse it.

Ah, botting. *chuckle* Honestly, if one's smart enough to set up a macro bot themselves it almost makes it seem fair, they're just using their intelligence to their advantage. I've done that a few times but only games where I really didn't care if I got caught or not. I did it just to see that I could. Screw the game's economy. If I can get banned for things I didn't do, it's more amazing to note the things I don't get banned for.

I don't think I ever got banned on an online game, if I did then it was a misunderstanding or for a stupid reason.

3 years ago I made a habbo hotel account with a pretty stupid name and did everything hat was against the rules until I got banned. I'm still banned, cause the ban lasts to 2015

Something like five years ago i was banned fro some browser game i don't remember what the game was called but i got banned for multi-account. And i was banned for five years, i bet the game doesn't exist anymore and i dont remember the game i can't see is my account yet unbanned...

I had an old Club Penguin account when I was little, so I decided to log on yesterday and see how long it'd take them to ban me for saying some bad words.

yeah i was banned from world of warcraft cause someone hacked my account and cheated using it so i was banned from it.

i am a cheater but im waaaaaay to good to get caught some guy reported me in little big planet cause as soon as i joined his game i said "ola senior" cause he was the most mexican looking sackboy ever and he kicked me out...and reported me

I was sort of banned from Runescape a long time ago.
