Alright everyone, after all this KH3D hype news, its quite obvious that kingdom Hearts 3D will bring a whole bunch of people back into the story after they have been removed from the story at some point. of these include

• Roxas
• Lea
• Ienzo
• Even
• Aeleus
• Dilan
• Master Xehanort
• Vanitas
• Xion
• Namine?
• Aqua
• Ventus
• Terra?
• Braig

Feel free to add any characters I've missed

 

It was very well established that in KH1, the keyblade bearer was a special entity and for most of the game you gained the sense that keyblade bearers were one of a kind and unique.

 

But with the the coming of KH2 and games beyond, other characters started popping up with keyblades including the villains. And in KH3D I can't but help think that characters like Lea/Axel will get his very own keyblade??

 

[RECOUNT/THEORY 1] The other topic I must expand upon is the dream world:

• If Sora and Riku are doing an exam, is it possible that the many Xehanorts (YX, MX, Ansem SoD, Xemnas...etc...geez talk abt bipolar disorder) encountered in the dream worlds are but fakes created by Yen Sid solely to test them.
• However I must also point out that it is implied that the Xehanorts end up some how manipulating Sora into their plans implicates that they must be real Xehanorts.

[RECOUNT/THEORY 2] And finally the return of characters

• That is ALOT of characters to call back on short notice (Some people take this differently, I know some people who are HELLUVA excited to see Sora's gang and Aqua's gang work together....and then there are some people who disapprove of the idea and have unfortunately given up on KH because of this)
• Some of them may become keyblade bearers??
• I personally am a huge Roxas and Xion Fanboy so why bring Roxas back and not Xion or Namine?
• PERHAPS the return of Roxas in the opening CGI film presented in the kH3D premiere is but a metaphorical expression of return (i.e. Roxas may continue to provide Sora with his divine strength from within). This point is made because square enix likes to metaphorical express events in the story such as the castle oblivion segments from the CGI intro in KH2.

Eitherway, it'll be interesting to see how ridiculously action-packed the story will turn out to be.

 

I for one am more interested in the music as I am a musician myself - I stalk Shimomura's works since her work on KH1 (She did music for Last Ranker, Radiant Historia too). It was very interesting to see how the music for KH evolves from pure orchestral to including semi-rock and finally partial contemporary. It will be even more interesting to see how TWEWY + KH music will work out.

I personally dont mind if more people get keyblades.Judging by the masses of keyblades sitting in the Keyblade Graveyard, keyblades werent that rare in the past so its not beyond reasoning for more wielders to appear for future needs. If Lea were to get a keyblade i bet it would be Bond of Flames..However, if this happens i hope they let him keep his identity with his chackrams and fire even with a keyblade...Not sure how but theres got to be a way to merge both to fit him.

Well, then how do you explain the mysterious figure from BBS? how would they be fake?

i hope people who are not suppose to have keyblades get them like lea it would make no scene and he has his chakrams and i hope everybody who xehanort has hurt will come back and fight against him and your missing eraqus everybody always forgets him he has to come back so ven and terra can become masters

I really want Xion back, and including her in the trailer is a big Yes to me.

Naminé... Well she's kinda played her part but I'd like her back. She's in my opinion a well-designed character.

And the music gahhh have you HEARD Those? I died. They're just TOO good.

So far this game is shown to have a pretty confusing storyline until we play it, of course.

I'm really excited to see how the whole thing develops.

But i disagree with the possibility of Yen Sid creating the Xehanorts. In an interview we see those Xehanorts drive the story to a different path and it no longer becomes the Mark of Mastery. I doubt Yen Sid would do that and not tell Mickey. Or warn them, in any way.

The possibility of when each of those forms of Xehanort ceased existence, they went to the Realm of Sleep, sounds more plausible to me.

Others getting Keyblades... Hell No. I'll be TOO DISAPPOINTED if that happens.

And PLEASE I hope they leave Eraqus dead he's a mes to begin with. Everything would have gone much better if he had let Terra be a Master and simply told him not to use the Darkness/Lock the Darkness in Terra's heart or whatever.

I freaking HATE Eraqus, as you can see.

Ven and Terra dont need Eraqus to be masters just to let you know ..Yen sid could take over that role or Mickey

I think a more effective list would be who will we not see, but that's just me. Also, labeling all of these characters as 'returning' seems to imply a bit of the wrong idea. Lea is returning. Roxas, sort of. Xion, at this point not at all, but she is appearing. If a character appears, they appear. If a character appears and plays some ambiguous/arguable amount of role in the story, that character is returning.

 

I suppose your Xehanort idea might work, but among the recent interviews and just gut feeling, I find it unlikely

 

I think I already adressed my thoughts on appearing/returning characters. People becoming keyblade wielders? Until the next saga, Kairi is the only one I'll accept to become a wielder, but it doesn't look like she is playing much of a role in the game.

I am totally fine with everyone working together. In fact, I think that's a great idea. But having allll of them become keyblade wielders... that idea doesn't fancy me as much...

As for the returning characters you mentioned--most of the Organization members you listed I know will have a role to play in the story, but the others (Aqua's gang, Namine, Xion, and Roxas) seems like they might just be there for a cut scene or two. Particularly near the end. But that's just me.

Well Master Eraqus is not TOTALLY useless...The fight btween him and Master Xehanort could have been sooo much better(being since they are both masters)but storywise,seems he could have told a little more about the precept.The way i see him and Terra fighting is like StarWars when Anakin(Terra) betrayed Mace Windu(ME,leaving Palpatine(MX)to deal the final blow.
