Do you think it will sell a crap load of copies? Because you know it has competition with Kid icarus: Uprising in japan and from what I heard both games are getting a lot of hype. I mean just look, there has been more news about KH3D and Kid Icarus: Uprising than there are with other 3DS titles. It really feels like Sakurai and Nomura are having a bit of a friendly competition lol. But I am curious and interested to see which game will make more sales in Japan. Kid Icarus holds a lot of promise especially with the multiplayer. Like seriously, you get a Smash bros feeling from it compared to KH3D with it's multiplayer. I don't know why but I get the feeling that you will get a Pokemon feel from KH3D's multiplayer because well...Nomura is treating the Dream Eaters like Pokemon .

i get the same feeling from the dreameaters,it looks a lot like pokemon but it also has some unique features,still i would like kh3d to win this ''friendly competition'' between kh3d and kid icarus though i have to admit that it is a very good opponent for kh3d

Realistically speaking i believe Icarus is going to sell more. I mean it's a main Nintendo title, they've spent a ton or money advertising it and It's got a lot of high praise already from gaming magazines, sites, and etc ... plus its getting released like a week in advance to KH3D, so yea.

I'm positive that KH3D is going to sell an incredibly large amount of copies! In fact I'm sure I'm going to have to preorder my copy just to be sure that I get it before it completely sells out!

At first I was thinking you were talking about NA and European sales, then I realized you were talking about Japan. Generally, Nintendo's franchises have always sold better then 3rd party titles. But if you're comparing 3rd party titles, I'm sure KH3D will do better than RE:Revelations.

I think KH3D might get a little bit for on the release date but i think overall I think Uprising will probably have more sales but who knows, it will be close probably, and you are right Uprising has the multiplayer but than again KH3D also has multiplayer bu still it will probably be really close

Well, like others have said, Uprising is a 1st Party game, where as DDD is a 3rd Party. Though with that said, I still think DDD will sell a crap load of copies, just bc it's a KH game and KH is immensely popular in Japan. But all in all, I think Uprising will win.

 

I'm gonna play the hell out of both games when I get them.

The Kingdom Hearts series as a whole has sold a bit over ten million copies since its inception. I doubt 3D will sell nearly ten percent of the series' total sales in one week.

It's not that much of a stretch; One Piece Musou sold 650,000+ copies in its first week. Kingdom Hearts is a VERY popular series in Japan, and so is the 3DS. It's also a hugely anticipated game so I can see it going in that range.
