Saw definitely!

From this list, I suppose I would say Saw but seriously, check out the original japanese 'Ring' and 'Dark Water'. They are both pretty terrifiying but in a more psychological way than the list you provided, except for Saw, which is a pretty damn good psycho thriller.

I would choose Saw, but I also like Horror in Elm Street.

Nightmare on elmstreet I say. Its in my opnion best horror movie I have seen so far, all scares were different in some way. In my opnion saw movies just suck. First one was pretty good, it was still pretty scary and stuff (although the ending was weird), but then all went downhill: Saw 2 still had good points, but makers didn't even try to make it scary anymore: it was all about blood and stuff. I don't think that seing internal organs and blood as scary, its gross. I don't even want to talk about saw movies after that....

I think Hostel and Hostel 2 rank up there bc the idea of being sold to another person so they can murder you for sport is scary sh*t. That and A House of a 1000 Corpses

'The Exorcist' and 'Ju On (Japanese Ver.)'.

For TV Series, it was 'Twilight Zone'
