What is so special about the 10th anniversary box?

Posted

I'm super happy about the 10th anniversary of kingdom hearts but when i saw the anniversary box set, i was a bit disappointed! to me it just seems like they just threw in a couple of games that most kingdom hearts fans already have, and then some post cards...

i think they should add some special stuff that the fans would really appreciate, rather than just re-sell old kingdom hearts games.

also, who thinks this or the 3D bundle will come to NA? it seems like all of these cooler bundles are japan only, but with the 10th anniversary, i think it would be nice to be able to get the cool bundles.

Yeah, SE didn't seem to put much effort into the 10th Anniversarty box. I'm not really too interested in the box since it only has Days ajnd Re:Coded (games that i already have) along with some post cards. i think they could've done better to celebrate the series. Like maybe make an HD collection of the main KH games like KH1, KH2, and BBS. Now THAT would really make my day.

I was really hoping for HD Versions of Kingdom Hearts 1, 2 & Re: Chain of Memories for the 10th anniversary.

The only things in the bundle I don't already have are Dream Drop Distance and those card things. The box, as it is, is almost completely redundant.

There is nothing special thats the problem xD

so true ;) i was there was something like a KH artbook with info about all the kh games, artwork, details about the story and character bios like assassins creed revelations had

The American bundle will be as follows

Bundle includes all previous games for free along with BBS V2 as a free bonus with a CD including all the songs from all KH games, including every song performed by an orchestra. Also comes with a free fake keyblade that changes shape when special keychains (Sold separately) are clipped to it. All games are remastered with super high end graphics, redone in Final Mix +++ Omega form, with a new ten minute CGI secret ending for each game. All dialog has been voiced over, including all of the text in the DS games. Furthermore, each game is now inter-connectable, unlocking new bosses and events in the other games upon completion. Beating all of the games unlocks an extra bonus episode that leads directly into KH3.

Includes a 3DS covered in Kingdom Hearts art. The menus have all been redone in KH style, with the virtual console version of Chain of Memories built into the system. Also comes with a selection of KH AR cards, which let you pose characters, and play KH AR games. Included in the AR card collection are all of the Dream Eater cards, as well as bonus cards that let you use famous characters from KH history instead of Dream Eaters. Additionally, the AR cards unlock special keyblades, abilities and Colosseum battles in KH3D. The 3DS also comes installed with Swapnote, which sends bundle exclusive notes from Square Enix at regular intervals.

The bundle also includes an revamped, English ultimania guide for every KH game.

Also includes a coupon allowing a twenty five dollar discount on KH3, which is coming to Wii U, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 later that same year (Shortly after the release of Versus XIII, which is actually nearing completion) also includes a voucher for a free copy of the upcoming KH3 supplementary title, Kingdom Hearts 3: Revelaitons, for 3DS, PSP/Vita, PC, as weel as the onlien stores for the Wii U, PS3 and 360.

All contained with a Guitar Hero sized package adorned with signed Nomura art, for the Special Bundle Price of $59.99

tutti frutti. Much like what Axel_Lea_Lives_On stated, there's nothing special about it. I don't doubt that there will be a copy of at least either KHDays or Re:Coded, it not both, in the used section at the very least in your local Gamestop store or some other store that sell video games New/Used in your area. Much like what Tails had stated, I believe that getting the HD collection of KH1, KH2, BBS, and possibly Re:Com would definitely be worth it for an anniversary to those that have stuck with the series so long. Just releasing two games that we could still find on shelves doesn't really catch my attention as an anniversary gift. I, along with a number of other Nintendo nerds like myself in the world, loved the anniversary that Nintendo did for Mario and the Zelda series. Unless, Square does something different and worth getting the anniversary package for, assuming they do it outside of Japan, I'm not really THAT motivated on getting it myself.

Where in the hell did you get that info?

My dad is the president of Square Enx and my mom is the logo.

Nah, I think I'm just too krunk at the moment to be so confused, reading that. 4am, not a good sign.

You seem to quite a number of days off, I'm afraid.
