The Titanic was the largest ship in its day. Indestructible, or so they thought. Thousands lined up for its maiden voyage, yearning to be free of their homeland and travel to America on the world's most powerful oceanic force. What no one could have predicted was that mother nature is cruel, and mother nature is fond of icebergs.

You, of any age, of any race, gender, or nationality, have purchased a ticket on this ship. How you get aboard is of your own choosing, but in the end, catastrophe favors no one. If only you had known what was coming before you bought that ticket. Maybe you would have turned around.

Rules:
This is going to be a quality Roleplay. It won't be insanely strict, but you will be required to type properly.

1) You must, at the very least, attempt to use proper spelling and grammar. An error here and there is no big deal; nobody is perfect. If you can't spell well or are not grammatically adept, please don't sign up. (May I also note that no one is grammatically inadept, it just requires a teensy bit of effort.)

2) There is a sad, but true basis for this RP. You are not on godmode, and you will not have guns and rockets or superpowers. You are an average human being with none of those things.

3) Your character doesn't have to die. Even after the Titanic sunk, there was an enormous amount of drama and inquires and both America and Britain regarding the sinking. It was a matter of life or death for even those who survived.

4) If you read these rules, post your favorite ice cream flavor at the end of your post.

5) Yes, some people may choose to have their characters die, but let's not come up with some bloody disgusting description. Let's try not to make this some gross R-Rated thing.

6) If I have seen you Roleplay before and know that you make short posts, cannot use proper spelling and grammar, or something of the like, I will deny you. There are very few quality RPs left, and good ideas are shot down when people cannot cooperate.

7) An occasional curse word is in order, but I don't want anybody dropping the f-bomb every few words or something.

Her older brother is currently training to become a policeman for the Ottawa Police Force. Her mother is a stay at home mom and her father is a lawyer. Vivianne has a great liking for all kinds of animals and wishes to become a veterinarian. She is usually quiet but quite an independent thinker for a girl of that time. Vivianne is fluent in both English and French. She recently spent a month visiting her British grandparents in London and her parents saw fit to purchase boarding passes to return to Canada.

Bio: Ada usually keeps to herself but when she got in trouble with family she bought a ticket to try to escape from her current life. She loves the idea of living on her own making her own way, but she is scared of having to return to her family if she fails.

Reason for boarding the Titanic: She is looking forward to one of the famous fashion shows in America, where she can also begin her own fashion line.

 

Appearance (Descriptions only, please): Anberlin's hair is a glowing, brownish-blonde color, accentuated by fancy pins. She is about 5'5, but is fond of heels, so usually somewhere above that. She was born with heterochromia, so one eye is a chocolate-like brown, while the other is a sea green hue.

 

Bio: Anberlin expected perfection, even as a child. If something wasn't the best available, then it wasn't good enough for her. Anberlin could come off as snobby, but she was nice enough internally. She just hadn't ever experienced a life where things didn't go her way, and therefore couldn't always see eye-to-eye with people who lived on a lower level. She loved to draw, and since becoming an artist would be a disgrace, she decided to become a fashion designer. It was something that pleased her family, and to Anberlin, that was all that mattered. She knew that in Britain she wouldn't have much of a chance, so she booked a one-way ticket to America with $500, a sketchpad, and high hopes.

Bio: Allen was born in famous family and studied music his whole childhood and is now very busy musician. When Allen first heard about Titanic he thought that it would be intresting experience and now he just wants to relax. Allen hasn't never thought about love and always thought that he should get married because of his work. Still now he has started to think, that he should try to calm down his life and start to live it with other people.

 

I don't have specific favourite ice cream favour, I like chocolate very much though.

Appearance (Descriptions only, please): She is abnormally tall, at about 5'8 with short, choppy blonde hair. She wears a plain, muddy white dress covered by an apron, usually with pounds of needles, thimbles, and thread clipped to it.

 

Bio: Tea's mother became pregnant before marriage--and as custom, she was shunned from society. Not wishing for her daughter to grow up facing that same feeling of not being accepted, she left her at the doors of a large English orphanage. Tea had been named Sarah Haverbrooke, since Sarah was a common name and Haverbrooke was the name of her orphanage. She was dubbed "Tea" from the exceptional amount of the substance she drank as a child. At eighteen, Tea left the orphanage, and found work surprisingly quickly as a seamstress. She wasn't the most talented, but she was acceptable. Lillian Abovey, an English socialite, caught sight of her work at the factory Tea was employed at. Once she learned of Tea's background, she took pity on her and hired her as a personal seamstress. Lillian wanted to move to America with her husband, who had gone over on a business trip and found it so wonderful he asked Lillian to sell the house and join him. She got a ticket for Tea quite cheaply, and so Tea's voyage began.

When she learned of the Titanic, she pleaded with her best friend to come with her, and she agreed. But whereas her friend could afford a economy ticket, Suzy got a steerage ticket. However, this didn't faze her excitment

Appearance: He's about average height (6'1"), emaciated, with pale skin and short black hair that he usually covers with a newsboy cap. The only clothes he currently owns are a dingy, gray 3-piece suit that used to belong to his father, and plain black button down shirt and matching slacks.

 

Bio: For the past couple of months, Mink has been living with his uncle as an apprentice blacksmith. He was good at it, but would have much rather become a clothing designer, despite this being a taboo job for him as a male. He's happy though, as long as he can earn enough money to support his family. Mink loves them more than anything, especially his younger sister, Susan. He is now a full-fledged blacksmith and is currently returning to his family in New York.

Bio: Joshua is the only son of a wealthy business man. He often accompanies his father on business trip, as he soon will be taking over the family business, The Parliament Tea Company. He secretly finds the idea incredibly dreary, but feels like he doesn't have a choice in the matter. Stuck-up and stoic, he doesn't make friends very easily, and doesn't plan to change any time soon.

Reason for boarding the Titanic: Moving to Canada in order to start a successful traveling business.

 

Appearance (Descriptions only, please): Long black hair that reaches the base of his neck, aquamarine blue eyes, 6'0" with a tall athletic build.

 

Bio: Single child of a British couple, Tristan recently had his birthday. Heir to a rather large fortune, he wishes to start a traveling business and sees the Capitol of Canada to be the perfect to do it due to the country's size and vastness. Tristan is confidant, sure of what he wants and what he expects of others but also harbours a secret insecurity on what people think of him. He is an avid reader and enjoys taking walks in his leisure time.

 

If I could, I'd probably edit Vivianne's appearance to broaden it more.
