Do you think Kingdom Hearts 3 will have an optional Co-op Story Line? Emphasis on the OPTIONAL.

 

Meaning you can play with one character or play with friends.

It seems like there are a lot of keyblade wielders by the end of 3D

But I don't think they will. That sounds cool but they tend to not experiment much with console games. They change a few mechanics but everything else is basically the same

I'd love it!

 

But I think SE will keep KH3 single player, unless they'd add a Mirage Arena mode.

 

I would like to have a friend control Donald and Goofy though!

if it was like the Mirage Arena, then yes, however a story line with Co-op hmmmm maybe not idk it all depnds really

co-op story line would probably work with Riku and Sora together (such as in Kh3D). But I don't think we'll get something like this for kh3. It might work on remake of 356/2 days since we got plenty of org 13 to choose to but that is just missions and missions and not story related.

I like the idea of getting to choose to play alone or with friends for the story line otherwise how the hell are they going to fit in so many damn characters.

alright this is what i would want if there was ever a sort of online co-op.

First i wouldnt want it to interfere with the main story at all but you get to create your own character and you get to do camgain with your friends and if you dont have your friends you get partners sort of like Spirits. Basically a mix between Phantasy Star Universe and Kingdom Hearts. And i know theres gonna be problems with that but im sure Nomura and who ever made PSU would work out the kinks and the story.

Nah played halo, I only find it enjoyable with other people playing also. I can't play it solo at all.

why the hell would they put a single player in the first place then

This is my number one wish for KH. My younger sisters have followed almost all of the storyline with me, and know how the game works. Having them play with me at the same time would be so great!

It would be an interesting concept but I highly doubt it would happen.

Having watched my gf play through my copies of 1&2, there were times I wished I could just plug in a 2nd controller & take control of a party member.

Not likely, since all of the other KH games have been pretty exclusively single-player RPGs.  (Except for 358/2 Days and BBS--but that was sort of different, since only missions and additional content could be played as multiplayer.)

I don't have anything against co-op or multiplayer, but I have no interest or desire to see those in a Kingdom Hearts game. Kingdom Hearts is primarily a single-player experience, and there's nothing wrong with that.

If there are multiple characters in a party during the story, then yes.

Well if they did it in a way kinda like how they did it in Dead Space 3 then maybe I would be ok with that but even then I don't think they would do it, would be interesting though

I highly doubt there would be a co-op storyline. KH isn't some military shooter where you can conjure up some generic soldier who tags along with the main guy, for the second player to play as. And playing as an already existing character wouldn't work very well since you'd need a reason as to why Sora and co. are out and about after the big baddie is dead. I hope the BBS kind of multiplayer is as far as they go.
