I went to my first ever show/concert recently and I was wondering whether you go to any concerts or shows? If so, do you like them? Who have you seen?

I enjoy going to concerts. I have been to a Skillet concert, the Rock and Worship Roadshow, and several classical music concerts. They are fun to go to.

Punk Rock Concerts (or just rock concerts in general)!!!! I recently started going to them 2 years ago and concerts are awesome!!! WARP TOUR 2012 HERE I COME!!!

Used to go all the time, sadly not so much anymore...stupid dissertation...

 

Depends on the bands or artists, for the most part I like them, but sometimes they're let down by the crowds

Went to see Miley Cyrus when I was 6 or 7 with my old best friend.

It was fun.

Went to see that girl who sings Sunshine. But I broke down crying. Lol

Went to see jingle ball in 2010 with my mom and sis. It was awesome.

Then this summer I went to see BTR. I'm hoping to see 30 secs this year lol.

I've been to some concerts but i dont go to them often

I saw Taylor Swift at the Verizon Center, and I'm going to see One Direction at the Patriot Center soon.

I saw the Nutcracker last winter and I'm going to see Don Giovanni this summer.

 

I also saw The Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific, Chorus Line, all of the Disney stuff on Broadway, The Fantastiks, Beethoven's 5th and 9th symphonies, and Mozart's Requiem as well as assorted music performed various musicians, quartets, and orchestras.

 

Living in New York and being a student makes seeing all this stuff ridiculously easy and cheap. I could probably purchase tickets for a concert or off Broadway musical right now and possibly some nosebleeds for a Broadway show.

 

I hate modern musical performances, how the hell am I supposed to enjoy the show when people are blocking my view, screaming, and getting high around me?

Why shouldn't we like concerts?

I went to Xutos e Pontapés's concert some time ago, and it was awesome.

My first was Michael Jackson back in 1996. Some opera show in Paris in 2002. Simple Plan in 2004, Click Five in 2006, and a few Kpop and indie concerts between 2008-2012.

 

Kpop concerts had to be the most hectic so far. Fans will push around and try to film the artists and not care for those around them, but the Girls Generation concert I had last december in Singapore was the most fun and more organized than what I had here in Malaysia.

I actually saw Jersey Boys when I visited New York and was extremely impressed. The Broadway experience was great! But yeah I know what you mean about the annoying people at modern performances.
