While I myself have a 3DS, I have some friends who do not, and who want to play the game. Since I (and many of you, likely) live with, and get a lot of financial support from your parents, can get your hands on a 3DS, many simply cannot afford it. Why would SE release a game for one, new, somewhat expensive system (though the huge price drop was nice)? I mean, it being on handhelds is one thing, but I think this should be released for PSP (and Vita by default) like how CoM, an originally Nintendo game, was released for a Playstation console.

All I have to say is this: keep dreaming. :P They looooove to troll us. Every KH fan should know this by now.

Supposedly they place new games on different consoles bc it opens up the series to new fans so this wont stop anytime soon

Nope. Never will happen, and doesn't need to happen. It also can't happy, as they'd have to rework some key elements for it to work on other platforms (besides Wii U)

Meh....rather keep it on the 3DS.

I bet KH on the Wii You would be fun, except... I would have to buy another console of course. But it would still be pretty fun :D

placing the kingdom hearts games on different systems is a marketing strategy to sell more consoles. think about all the people that bought or will buy a 3DS, just for Kingdom Hearts DDD. i know i did. although, it was a smart choice. the 3DS is coming out with and has come out with some great games, other than just KH DDD. such as Luigi's Mansion 2, Project X Zone, Kid Icarus: Uprising. i for one am glad i purchased a 3DS and i would recommend that any and all gamers should buy a 3DS.

Put DDD on an even more expensive console for people who can't afford it? That makes sense.

At least there is the option of buying used if the price for a new one is too difficult to pay for. I saved for 4 months to get my 3DS.

KH3D is a 4GB game. PSP discs have a limit of 1.8 GB so right off the bat they would have to release it as a multiple disc game. Not impossible not ideal either.

Then there the hardware differences, 3DS is clearly a beefier machine than PSP. It kinda shows that the dream eaters are so smooth & round looking & unverse are angular in many areas of their bodies. A pretty clear sign of how many polygons both machines could push. 3D also has much larger areas than BBS did, which probably be too much for the system having major framerate issues. Heck, there's a reason party members are rare occurances in BBS, the framerate always drops a bit with them.

& of course how would the touch screens applications work?

But Vita is technically possible. However whose actually buying those?

You really didn't think this through before making this thread.

Doesn't anyone think they should have BBS for PS3 or Vita??

Well, there is a PSP remaster program for PS3, so....yah.

@Uncle Dolan: Yeah, the 3DS's touchscreen elements would indeed be nearly impossible for the PSP to replicate, or very difficult most likely. Just based on this, the PSP is scrapped.

@Gumi: Any particular, logical reason why?

@Oishii >PSP

>More expensive than 3DS

>Wat.

@ MAtgs: Very good to know. Though assuming it'd actually be able to work on PSP, it'd have to be PSN exclusive, which Disney probably wouldn't approve of for whatever reasons.

@Rob Thank you for your informative and useful post.
