April 25, 201213 yr Not really much to discuss-- Dawn service was small (as per usual for a town like mine) mostly filled with elderly people who understood the significance and young kids from the primary schools who had no idea what was going on (except that some of them got to hold flags). I haven't actually seen any programs on TV for it, but then I only just got up again.

April 25, 201213 yr we laid wreaths yesterday in the auditorium since it was raining outside...it's not as symbolic as under the flags but at least we will remember them..

Must be an Australian thing. So it's an Australian thing to remember those that fought and died for our great country? No wonder we're the greatest country in the world.

Also, America has Independence Day/Memorial Day/ Veteran's Day...Most everyone thinks their country is the best ty .
