So, I have some positive updates for once! I know some of you were following my updates and giving me great advice (that I truly appreciate from the bottom of my heart :wub: ), so I wanted to update you with good news!

 

Remember my "problems" with my boyfriend? We broke up for a week and within 2 days he started talking to a girl named "Mary" (I won't put her real name). I'll re-cap for the people who don't remember.

 

This "Mary" girl is (was) one of my boyfriends best friends for 15 years. He always had a crush on her when he was growing up, but nothing ever happened between them. Well, he eventually got over her a long while ago. We started dating and she literally harassed me for 3 months straight. My boyfriend finally said something to her and they stopped talking. My boyfriend and I broke up for a week and 2 days after we broke up, I noticed he and "Mary" were Facebook friends again. I assumed he still liked her, was talking to her and all this stuff. I was totally wrong. Here's what actually happened:

 

"Mary" found out my boyfriend and I broke up and sent him a text saying she was sorry for everything. My boyfriend, even though we were still broken up at the time, defended me and said he still cared a lot about me and he could never have a friendship with her like they used to have ever again. He doesn't respect what she did. So, ultimately, he picked me even when we weren't together. Of course we're together again and everything is going really well

Positive story number 2 is that I thought I had to drop out of college because of money, but it turns out I don't have to drop out! I switched my major to Creative Writing for Entertainment (with my focus on video games) and it starts June 25th. I already took 2 common courses (Mythology and Math) and got A's in both courses! My GPA is a 3.5!

 

My 3rd positive story is I got a job! I have been jobless for almost 5 months, but I finally found one! It's also a really good one. I got a job as an Assistant Manager at a store called ICING at the mall. It sells jewelry, accessories, shoes, purses, hates, scarves, make-up (very girly stuff ) and I will also be piercing ears! I start this Tuesday! It's full time hours, good pay, I'll be able to get benefits after 90 days and have chances for bonuses. The extra plus side is I get to keep my style! Most places are stuffy and make you have normal hair and no tattoo's or piercings.. but I get to keep all of mine! I don't have to hide my tat's or take out my lip ring and I can keep the crazy red color I have underneath my hair. I'm pretty happy about that

 

It finally looks like my life is turning around for the better and I wanted to share it with you because a lot of you have really helped me and have given me such great advice and made me feel so much better when I was down. Yeah, misfortune and bad things or situations happen. That's life. But as of right now, everything is going really well so Im going to just focus on that

Congratulations!! Also, if you live in the states there's financial aid lol It will hunt you once you finish but it will help you get your degree.. I still have to pay my loans too

Although if I get a job in the community hospital they may pay for my loans with a contract. So yeah.. ^^ Goodluck hopefully more positive stuff comes to you..
