Wouldn't really call it a rival when it's nothing more than a rip-off.

 

Also, with Nyan Cat you could at least understand what was being said. I have no idea what is being said in this video. Nor do I even know what that thing flying through space is. A Swedish Shrimp?

The color choice for the character and the setting is less likeable and looks kind of obnoxious in comparison to the colorful Nyan Cat.
